Automated call. They call all the time.

I answered and got a recorded message" Hi. This is Kathy with SBN Membership, .. you're pre-approved..."  blah blah.

I hung up.

I did not answer the phone this time, because I am really getting sick of hearing these people call.  I do believe they are a scam and phishing for personal information.  I am on a do not call list and I have told these people not to call, but it does not seem to stop them.  They are calling my cell phone and taking up my minutes.  I don't have time for this.  

i see that this has been going on for some time.  I also believe that only a very small portion of people are reporting them.  

I went to the do not call list website and reported them to the FTC.

After numerous hang up calls this morning at our company, a voice (heavy foreign accent) starts talking about the SBN and wanted to verify our phone number and address.  Immediately following this phone call I received an automated phone call about SBN charge card services.  I phoned the company number 1-800-817-1726 and was told as long as I didn't give a charge card number, I would not be enrolled.  There is an annual fee, of course.  Luckily I did not give any info other than the address.  Still feel like it's a bit sleazy.

I just received an email from my FCC complaint on this phone number.  Also, beware that I received a call from 216-658-3052 saying the same thing, "SBA".  Here is the message from FCC on phone number 508-438-2672:

This company began calling our home at 8:53am on a Sunday morning and rang the phone 20 rings.  We did not answer and it's now a few minutes after 9 and they've called again already.

Received call at 9:30 am Sunday morning (with 2 9 month old twins sleeping).  Attempted to speak to live person but was put on hold.  Called back and was put on hold.

We are on a national do not call list.  why do these people feel they don't need to follow the rules??   Called at 9:08 am on a Sunday morning on our business emergency phone number

got harrassed by them, filed a complaint on  https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

They called my cell phone on the 18th! No one even has that number. must have misdialed. I don't get wrong numbers very often.

They do not neww to follow DNC regulations because they can link each of your numbers to a business listing online and DNC does not apply to business numbers-if you use you cell phone for business AT ALL, they can call you for business to business sales!
