Yet more telemarketing scum.  The called, claiming they had "randomly selected" my phone, and wanted to sell me security services.  After pushing them back a bit, I got to talk to a "supervisor" (probably just the person at the next desk in their
telemarketing den).  They are "F D S Home Services".  They claimed to be from Dallas.  They also said that they never check with the Do Not Call lists.  I told them that if I ever get a call from them again, I will file a harassment complaint with the police.  Yes, i DO consider this to be a harassing phone call.  Filing complaints with the State and the Feds is completely useless.  All they do is file the information away.  They never actually take any action.  All of the telemarketers have figured this out.   Let's all lean on our Congress Critters to actually put some teeth into the law!

Lady from this number called telling me I won a security system for my home.  I repeatedly explained that is my cell phone, it's also on a do not call list.  She insisted she wasn't a telemarketer and had the right to call me.  I told her its my work cell phone, I'm at work.  She kept arguing and talking over me.  She was extremely unprofessional and refused to remove me from the call list.  She was arguing while I hung up on her.

[***] called me today, I'm pretty sure they called me last week as well. I told them then to never call me again, clearly they don't give a [***].

These people are jerks. I tried being polite the first six or so times they called, but I've had enough. I called them back (512- 229-0357) and someone actually answered. Call centers like this usually have their incoming calls blocked. So now that I know they accept incoming calls, I suggest we all call them multiple times with some equally worthless gibberish. Who knows, maybe we can shut their lines down.

I got two calls today on my ATT cell.  I did not answer either of the calls and my outgoing message clearly states this is a cell phone.  I had just looked up the number on this site, turned around to mention the scam to a relative when another call came in.   I answered and without saying hello blew a very loud, ear-piercing whistle in the ear of the caller.

These ppl keep calling me every Friday I tell them to take me off but they never do

I get a call from this # just about every night for the past week. I never answer a phone call from a # I don't know. No message is ever left and I have never called back. I don't know how to stop them from calling.

Same as everyone else getting.  FCS but no VM left. Called my cell.

I started calling THEM back and telling them  my system is better than theirs. Now they are hanging up on me! Pow pow pow!

My number is on the "do not call" list and yet I got an unsolicited call from this number.  SCAM

FCS Home Services trying to sell me a home security system. Call appears to originate from Elgin Texas.

No evidence of an FCS Home Services found via a web search.

Ask them to remove my number from their call list.

Telemarketer

Its real fishy, could be a crime ring scouting houses with no alarm system.

I just received a call from this number. He wouldn't give me his name. He kept asking for the "homeowner" and I asked, "who are you trying to reach" and he just said the homeowner. He made an excuse that the number is correct in his database but the names are jumbled; however, I had been selected to win a free $2000 wireless system for my home and all he needed to do was confirm I am the homeowner. I told him I wasn't and he said he would call back and then he hung up before I could tell him to never call me back.  

Called, missed the call, then number called again. I answered. Silence for about 5 seconds then they hung up.

Local number that is a spam telemarketer. She said my number was "selected" for a "gold package" of some type. I just hung up on her.

Phoned up, I answered, silence for a minute where I could hear someone breathing and then they hung up.

They just called me and I requested to be removed from the list.  The woman was very ride and said, "We'll just call you again later," and hung up.  I called the number back and actually got an answer.  I requested a supervisor and politely reminded them that the law requires removal of my number upon request.  It's probably wasted effort, but it makes me feel slightly better...
