Central time is only 1 hour earlier than eastern time.

By any chance, did any of you do an Internet speed test just prior to receiving the call from this number 512-230-1243.
I received this call only about a minute after doing an Internet speed check to a Texas location. I used the Speakeasy Speed test from the web. May be just a coincidence, but it is just a thought. Phone rang, answered immediately and nothing.. hung up... Could be a power dialer hanging up because there was not an agent available for an answered call.. but still a coincidence with my speed check.

This caller is telling people they have won a free trip to some huge vacation spot. It's a scam. I answered it this morning. Beware.....

Called last eve. I was ill but still would not have answered. These free vacation scams are constant. I can't believe people fall for this , so they must be seeking other info.  It seems ironic that politicians exempt themselves and charities so all the scammers need to do is pretend they're a charity and  the ones left to deal with this aggravation are tax-paying, bill-paying citizens who have phones for their own convenience.

called number and it says the number has been changed. think this is an nsa ploy justifying tapping my conversations

Austin, TX is in the central time zone, so it would have been 8:15 Austin time. Eastern time minus 3 hours is pacific time zone.

Called but left no message.

Called said nothing and hung up

It's mexicans trying to cross into the us thru the phone lines. :)

Called my cell phone.  I answered and they hung up.

North Korean, kimche smelling like wienie smokers.  Want your personal information so they can eat your dog and molest your children.  Blow a whistler in the phone next time these kim jong un butt smellers call you.

Texas is on the Central time zone.  915am ET = 8:15am in Texas.

Keeps calling.  Does not leave a message.   What can be done to stop these jokers?

A recorded message from somewhere in Texas saying that I've won a cruise. I hung up after 10 seconds and tried calling them back. Got a pre-recorded message from Verizon saying that they were unable to connect me to 512-230-1243 at this time, and to please try again later. Sure smells like a bunch of horses**t to me. Can you say S-C-A-M?

Someone called me several time from this number today.

That would make the time 8:15 am.
