calls everyday at least twice a day

i got a call from the same number on my home office number and then on my cell. funny thing is that i never get out my cell so that means they traced me some how. anyway it seems that it may be some sort of sales pitch for id theft but i already have protection that was recommended to me at http://www.helpmeasap.com

I had this number on my cell phone, I'm in Saskatchewan Canada and i Looked in our phone book under area codes and turns out this number is from Innsbruck, Austria, Funny I don't know anyone from there, must be phoning to tell me I have won the lottery there or I am entitled to the dieing prince's wealth if I give up all my bank infornmation via email, somehow I think this number is a scam

I keep getting calls from the US and this # as well guy asked for Mabel Macdonald and when I said stop calling for her he said it was walmart distribution

He was very interested in my credit cards and limits. I don't know what he is up to.
But it is probably not legal.

Yeah I think its a call about starting your own online buisness. I went to a site and payed seven bucks for some info and now I get calls from a 312-445-0709 Number which a guy left a message one time stating that he was Checking to see how my online buisness was doing that I never started. Its my own fault that they are calling because I put in my info. i guess the next step is to change my number, lol.

These folks call, don't leave a message. I really a business that don't know how to leave a message. Perhaps we should take away their phone!

This # keeps calling my cell. Very annoying since I use my cell for business.

Hi received call from this number no message called it back said VOIP client not available right now right after got several calls from 213-514-5323  same thing no message no answer.

I get calls on my cell from 5126960768.  They come occasionally several times a day.  I don't answer because I don't recognize the number.  Wish it would stop...

you all are idiots! those calls are coming from a company from which you ordered or purchase a damn course at some time to make some pocket change I've actually been helped but because you all are so brain dead you guys create some fiction stories in your minds and wondering how to get help you just let it slide through your fingers get a clue! if you don't want calls don't post your information on the web

maybe if you guys would just answer the phone and tell them you have no credit cards they'll leave you alone even though they're just trying to call you from the numbers you left on the web dah! ignoring the calls apparently isn't working so trying something new

They called me and I spoke to a guy who wants me to be part of there "investment team" my words. They said I did by a product from Justin Blake (Google his name to learn more) and this is a follow up call. They make it sound like I have to meet there high standards to be considered to work with them. You talk to one guy for awhile and his job is to find out if your worth being a mark. Then you have to spend another hour on the phone with a closer to make the deal. They are good at getting info from you. I made up all the numbers they wanted to hear to see where this was going. They need your credit card balances and line of credit so they can figure out how much money you can invest with them. They tell you your going to learn how to leverage your line of credit on your credit card. I never got to find out exactly what they were selling. Basically they want you to invest 5-10 thousand dollars into something. They were very vague about the details. After an hour I got tired of talking to them and ended the call. I do think this is some kind of a scam. If its legit why all the cloak and dagger stuff and all the pre qualifying needed before they even tell you what they may let you do. Be careful out there.

how terrified you all are about scams... USA is not what it was used to be ah?

I did the same thing as Bob and played along with them.  The reason I'm receiving these calls is because I had ordered Shawn Casey's free DVD (paid $7 for s&h).  This is the typical followup call that occurs shortly after you order any business opportunity/make money product.  

Because I'm in marketing and know that there will be a followup phone call, I usually use a different phone number when placing orders online.

In this case, they are trying to upsell me to their high-priced coaching program that is somewhere around $5,000.  Just as Bob explained, they want to make you feel as though you have to "qualify" in order to be a part of their so-called program. That way, you're less likely to as for a refund later down the road.

As for the different phone numbers, they use an automated system that changes the number so that you don't get used to blocking the same number.

This is going to sound funny but I make money off of these phone calls.  The way I do it is by recording the conversation and having it transcribed.  Then I sell the recordings and transcripts to those interested in growing their existing business.

If it didn't work then they wouldn't be doing it. Rather than complain about them, try to find a way to capitalize off of them.

All of a sudden starting receiving a large number of calls from 321-445-0709, 512-696-0768, 702-952-4300, and 213-514-5323.  Unexplained.  I do not answer but still the calls keep coming; no messages left on my voicemail.  I was able to go on my Verizon Wireless website and "block" these but we'll see if that actually works.  I hope I don't get other numbers attempting to call me, because there is a limit of five numbers that can be blocked; and only for 90 days, on Verizon.  Annoying.
