Is this true Doug? What happened? This phone number shows up for us too.

Oddly, I have a credit of $100 from this number.....????????????????

How did the credit appear/get the word about the credit?
CC statement? Bank Statement? Text from this number?  The first 2 you can check into, the last one seems suspicious to me based on earlier posts. There are many scams that start with you having a credit, but you need to call some phone number the connects to a phishing or rebate scammer.

I was just charged a VRBO fee on $499.00 on my credit card.  I reported this immediately to my credit card company.

I got charged $700+ on Vrbo, which was found out via my bank statement. This phone number shows up in the statement.

Two charges for total of $300. Because I used debit card, I have to fill out fraud paperwork. Is the phone # legit? When I called it, a woman answered like she was answering a personal phone. I had no business at all with VRBO

Charge of $233 VRBO service fee, when that fee was included on the full payment via a different credit card. Called up this 512 number and was someone in India and when presented with logic, hung up. SCAM ALERT!

Just got a charge on my CC from this number in texas as VRBO for $920.28 CDN. Locked my CC imediatly and called the CC complany to dispute this transaction.

This happened to me as well for a property we were trying to book in Gatlinburg, TN area. Charged nearly $600. I logged in to VRBO today to check my reservation for December & there’s no upcoming trips showing up. I looked in the cancelled trips tab as well & nothing is listed there either. Has anyone been successful in getting a refund from VRBO? Just wondering what steps to take to dispute this charge & seek a refund?

Same story. $208 on my cc. Called VRBO - it’s legit. No issues or concerns.
