CID said Montreal, PQ.  Did not answer, left no message.  I have Panasonic phones and it has where I can block up to 30 calls.  If they keep calling that's what I will do, but just about out of the allotted block saves.  Wish these people would give it a rest!  But, if you don't answer calls from people you don't know, you won't get scammed people!

on 5-3-12 thur. it is a female caller a recorded message, had several of these calls in the past few years and now and then in 2012. message: there is currently no problems with your credit card account etc.. to see if you are eligable to lowering the interest rates etc.. press a number key to speak with a Live Rep. in the past I pressed a number key and got a hang up- it was either this same message/caller or another call like it, not sure-had so many. so many I kept a log for a few years the date and time of the calls and the messages. I posted all online the calls from different numbers.  there is no one to talk to to have it taken off the call list. they do not leave a name of a Co or Bank name or ask who the call is for! our answering machine is on 24/7 to get the messages. once in a while we pick up the phone when we are expecting a call back from someone. this is not the way telemarketers do business. I *69 and got the number #514-800-9999 I also did a free online search-reverse phone search: this call came from-Montreal, QC.

How do we stop these calls? Cannot identify.

got call on my cell phone which tell me where the call is from...also suggests spam I do not answer rings about 5 or 6 times

This number called me, but I did not recognize the number so I did not answer.  Thank God for Caller ID.

I do not understand how these calls can get through when you are registgered with the no caller list.

second time I have gotten this call after I have pressed #3 to be removed from the list. This time I reported them to donotcal.org

These are the same sleazers that call from all over the country, and now Canada, to try and get personal information or sell credit cards under the guise of problem with your card and a chance to get lower rates. I've reported them to the do not call registry probably 50 times but our useless government does nothing about it. I'll keep making complaints and maybe someday a less than lazy gov. employee will go after them. Fat chance?? Recorded calls like this are illegal.

Everytime I get a call of unknown origin, I check it out on the Internet and if it is something that I don't want to be bothered with in the future, I add the number to the block caller list on my phone system (Panasonic)

So sick of getting the same scam call about lowering interest on my credit cards from different fake numbers.  I'm ready to get rid of my land line because of them.  I always put these on the blocked list, and they keep calling from different numbers.  Do they really think that after I've blocked them 25 times, the 26th call from a spoofed number is the one that's going to convince me to buy their stupid product?  So annoying.

Yeah, sure....done that 5 times already.
