this number keeps callings our house it is getting very irritating. the company is Leger Marketing.
the number to reach them is 514-982-2464.

I received several calls from this number.  I phoned last night to 1-800-404-2464 and spoke to Alex and asked that they remove my number from all of their lists.  Approximately 1/2 hour later I got 2 other calls, no one at the other end.  This afternoon I received another one and phoned again and spoke to Jean Bernard Pierre advising them that this was my last call, that my telephone registered all calls and that I would make an official complaint if I received another call from them.   Enough is enough!

J'ai reçu plusieurs appels de ce numéro.  J'ai téléphoné hier soir au 1-800-404-2464 et j'ai parlé à Alex et j'ai demandé à ce qu'ils enlèvent mon numéro de toutes leurs listes.  Approximativement 1/2 heure plus tard j'ai reçu 2 autres appels, personne à l'autre bout.  Après-midi j'ai reçu un autre appel et j'ai retéléphoné et j'ai parlé à Jean Bernard Pierre leur avisant que c'était mon dernier appel, que mon téléphone enregistrait tous les appels et que je ferais une plainte officielle si je recevais un autre appel de leur part. Assez est assez!

twice today they called me,,

4 times today  this annoying no. 5149829805 called and upon answering no one there...I called the 800 no.and asked to be taken off their list...they seem to jibber about a problem on their system....ya sure buddy.....lets hope this call worked...

In the last 4 days between Jan. 05 & Jan. 09 I received 9 calls from 514-982-9805. I emailed my complaint & request to be removed from their list to the following email addresses.  
jmleger@legermarketing.com (Jean-Marc Leger, President), headquarters@legermarketing.com, siegesocial@legermarketing.com (Christian Bourque, VP), quebec@legermarketing.com.  I also faxed my email message to 1-514-987-1960.  I received an email reply from a Sylvie Girard [sgirard@legermarketing.com] today Jan. 10/2011 apologizing.  Will see if the calls actually stops now, but at least I now have a name and contact.  Everybody should inundate them with emails to all of above email addresses, like I did, and see if they will stop harrassing people.  If it is an automatic dialing they should have it programmed so that if the number their are calling doesn't pick up after 3 attempts they delete it from the list, assuming we don't want to be called. N'est pas?

I RECEIVED 2 CALLS FROM THAT NUMBER IN 2 DAYS.  NOBODY IS ANSWERING ON THE OTHER LINE.  TRIED TO CALL BACK AND NO ANSWER OR IT'S BUSY.

I get these 514-982-9805 calls constantly. I finally answered and no one was there. What is the point of this? I then called back and left a message to not call me again. Idiots.

Reçu un appel de ce numéro à 20:45, ma fille a répondu ''allo'' plusieurs fois, personne ne répondait, puis raccroché.
Pas moyen de savoir c'est qui avec la recherche pages jaunes...
J'espère que ce sera la seule fois...

J'ai reçu un appel du 514-982-9805 et il s'agit bel et bien de LEGER. J'ai appelé au 514-982-2464 et laissé un msg.
Une madame se présentant comme la directrice, mme Sylvie Girard, m'a téléphonné et m'a confirmé que le 514-982-9805 est un numéro de leur numéro. Suite à discussion, celle-ci m'a affirmé que LEGER appelle les gens jusqu'à 21h30 et que C'EST NORMAL. Il n'y a rien à faire, selon ses dires, "elle fait son travail" et si on veut être enlever de la liste, il faut le demander. Mais c'est NORMAL d'appeler chez le monde à 21h30!!

The National Do Not Call Lists do not apply to surveys or studies only companies that try to solicite money.

So even if you register for the DNC List you're calls may be reduced but does not apply to surveys. If you speak to the companies however and ask to be put on thier list of exclusion a lot of reputable phone research companies have them (however they are not required to) and will oblige.

If you read the disclaimers in conjunction with the DNCL they explain it doesn't apply to research, which in my opinion, is why most people jump onto the DNCL.
