This is the first time i got a call from this number but i got calls from another number and never once do they leave me messages i answered a couple times on the other number and it was a debt collector saying i owed wells fargo 70 dollars from when i closed my account. Which i do not understand because i waited 3 days for the pending transactions to be clear along with any outstanding transactions that had not yet been posted. When i went in to close my account i asked if everything was cleared and nothing pending i was told yes. so when i got a call from these ppl i didnt understand why, i didnt even get a bill from wells fargo directly. i just got a bill from this collection agency months after closing the account. i say if wells fargo doesnt tell you you owe them money you dont have to pay, how can they expect you to when there are so many scams going on out there to get money from people. Although this isnt the first problem ive had with wells fargo.

I keep receiving this call at my office, but no one is ever on the line.  I say good morning etc and then there is silence and then a "click".  It happens throughout the day.  Very irritating.

Same thing here.  5 calls now over two days. Every time I answer they hang up. I don't even have an account with Wells Fargo.

Or just block it.

I work for Wells Fargo. I am not a collector and did get a call from this # as well and didn't answer. I want to clear up a few things though... I do know that collectors are only allowed to call 2-3 times a day (starting at 8am legally and I believe ending by 9pm). This is strictly enforced and accounts are put on a dialer. They would not call any number not associated with an account. If something is a cell phone or cease and desist, they would not call without approval. Also, no department is EVER allowed to ask for anything more than the last four of a social security #. Therefore, I don't think this is truly Wells Fargo. Believe it or not, we as employees get many, many emails about fake emails, fake texts, fake calls going out from people saying it's Wells Fargo and to please alert our customers if they call in concerned. I will let Wells Fargo know this "company" is claiming to be them.

I receive calls every 30 minutes from this number, but they never leave a message - sorry, I don' t answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. These calls start around 8:30 a.m. daily, including Sundays. If it's important, they should leave a message.

Well, I got a call from this number too.  Here's a hint to robo dialers, marketeers, and yes you debt collectors.  Leave a message and I might call you back.  Hang up w/o a message and I will block your number!  Easy, peasy, lemon squeezie! ;)

See I have a missed call from this number at 8:13 a.m. Sunday morning July 5th.  Seriously?
No message was left.

They called me back after I was awake.  It is Wells Fargo. I have 2 loans with them.  One is auto drafted one is not. I slipped and deducted the one that is not from my checkbook as if it was auto payed.  Payment of $88 was due on June 23. It is July 5th and they call to "settle a severely delinquent account". I reminded her how rude it is to call on a Sunday and that I'd take care of it myself then hung up.  Log into my account and over $200 is stated as delinquent?

11:40 AM CST landline left no message.  My wife has an account with them so I sent her a text about the call although they left no message.

This number has called 11 times in one week, as early as 8am.  Not answering!

English not their first language. Said my last payment was 27.51 short, couldn't tell me when that payment was made. Wanted to know when I intended to bring that up current. I told them the 3rd Wednesday of the month just like always. She says so on the tenth of October? And that I owed 210.91 now and would I pay by check over the phone. I hung up. my monthly payment is @125 and no change.

I've been getting calls, from this number and decided to google it.....I'm reading many saying it's Wells Fargo. I have NO dealings with them! No credit card or bank account, nothing!! Guess I'm going to have to answer and tell them to Fk off! Then block their number!!

They started calling me at 8:06 am on a Sunday. Then called me again at 8:50 am and 10:15 am. Isn't it illegal to call ppm on Sundays?

Call every day multiple times a day from (515) 327-4429 (Des Moines, IA). They also cal from (800) 266-6932. They never ever leave a message so that you know who's calling. Calls are back to back very early mornings and very late nights. The worst is the back to back from each number usually during a meeting. I have a mortgage through Wells Fargo which is never late and I have a account where I purchased a bed which went through them. It's been maybe a week late this one time due to moving out of my house and overlooking it, but had never been late before. I assume this is who is calling due to all the people that have commented about this number being Wells Fargo. Reverse lookup also shows the number is them. If it's a legitimate business call then they should leave a message! This is just harassment and something really needs to be done to stop this. Never again will I ever do anything through them.
