got a call from this number . my phone display shows Plandome Manor, New York. I have no friends or relatives in NY. so off the bet it raised a red flag.

It's for the National Association for Professional Women.  It isn't a scam, but yes they do want to sign you up for membership. My company paid for it so I did it. It helps women professionals network. Just tell them you don't want their services and to remove your number.  Good luck to you all.  - no i don't work for them

Receive numerous calls from this number on my cell.  However, if I answer no one is on the other end.  If I try and call back it either rings continuously or quickly disconnects.  Doubtful its legit.

I, also, received a call today from Plandome Manor, NY, but I have stopped answering calls from unknown numbers. I am just so sick and tired of all the calls I receive per day.  So many offers for things you don' t want and didn't ask for.  It's sad and sick that there are so many people out there just trying to relieve you of some of your hard earned money.  I also resent the fact that they don't care if you're on the national do not call list. I don't even live in NY.

I tried blocking but they keep calling
I answered and asked why they keep calling
They hung up and blocked me from calling back
Very annoying!
