At least 3 or 4 calls from this number in past 3 weeks.  I have never answered any of them.   In general I do not answer calls whose only ID is "Out of Area" or a geographical location (Garden City, NY in the case of this number).  We've been getting numerous calls from various locations including New York, Florida, Jamiaca to name a few.   A wide variety of scammers out there either selling something you don't want or need or telling you you've won the Mega Millions or telling you there is something wrong with your computer or whatever.  Seems the "No Caller" list is being violated with abandon.

This number calls me at least once per day, sometimes multiple times. I have never heard a voice on the line it simply rings, i answer and get dead air followed by the operator asking me to hang up and try my call again. I am on the do not call registry and I block the numbers as they come but they get fresh numbers from the new york area every week or so and start over. I have received over a dozen calls from these folks in one day before.

Keep calling trying to sell senior safety products..  WHAT GOOD IS  THE DO_NOT_CALL- LIST ?      They don't do anything..

please what exactly is an  "EMERGENCY NUMBER" PHONE ???

called 8/6/2014 - left no message, but from the above comments I have gotten similar calls and voice messages  from various numbers that state I have been referred by a medical professional - of course that is a lie.
