This number (516-746-9347) also called my house, in Canada! They asked for money in exchange for lifetime support. This computer is 2 DAYS OLD. They directed me to the Ammyadmin Website. Im guessing this is the remote access program they are using now. The third supervisor I spoke to was called "Edward"- That's what I got anyway, when I could understand what he was saying. They actually asked if I could speak English, when I couldn't understand what they wanted, or why they needed money to fix my brand new computer.  In the end I was summarily hung up on once I asked to many questions. I look forward to the next call with my rape whistle in hand, the phone company actually recommends this method since they have no control over them, and the government has not regulated anything. IT WORKS! ... well usually. and its fun :)  

got a response from this number they say I have a virus on my computer..... and how would you know?????

Said they were doing a research report for Seminole Research. Asked super basic questions about our company; said they could not go on as we sell both software and hardware. Tell them you only respond to online surveys.

Just recieved call in DK from that Number. When I call back from my Vietnam# noboddy answer.

This nuisance caller rang us this morning, we're in the UK.

This number is now on our blocked list - so if you're reading this don't waste your time ringing us sucker!

We are also getting calls, they are nasty since we did not respond to their request

This company calls and says they want to refund you some money from an online purchase a few years ago.  That purchase really messed up my computer.  Now they want remote access to your computer so they can send you back your money.  Sounds like a fraud!  The jerk would not shut up, and kept repeating the same lines.  Finally, I had to hang up on him, even though he said they would keep calling back.

10/28/2014 Got a call from 516-746-9347 claiming to be the IRS, Internal Revenue Services. Left a computer generated voice message saying the IRS has been trying to reach me and this call was the "final notice."  The message claims the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. Wouldn't the IRS send a certified notice via USPS if they couldn't get ahold of me and were filing a lawsuit against me? I've paid taxes so not sure why there'd be a lawsuit...? Scam...?
When I tried the number back it just rang. No answering service or recorded voice messaging. Ummmm

10/31/2014. I received the same call as Erin did. Got a call from 516-746-9347 claiming to be the IRS - Internal Revenue Services. The message was an automated computer-generated one. I had heard a news piece from the Better Business Bureau on talk radio about an IRS scam......someone calling people stating a similar scenario. Also, the IRS, the Internal Revenue Service_ (no 's' at the end of that word is a clue that it's a scam) has cautioned the public about scams. If I don't recognize the caller's #, I DO NOT answer.

I got FIVE calls in a row from this number, a 607 number, and a few other area codes most being from New York one of them being from california. they called me 5 times in a row from different numbers and the two times that I answered it sounded like a Middle Eastern or an Indian but they hardly spoke to me because I said I couldn't understand them and I hung up. when I looked at these numbers on this site a lot of the reports were the same people saying that they are computer scammers so be careful. they call from different numbers.

I got this same call today... reported it to the IRS

RE:  516-746-9347   Nov 7, 2014.  That phone number claims to be a final call from the IRS which is filing a lawsuit against you, and that you should call  202.864.1223.  No name is mentioned, no case number given etc.  The number to call does not seem to be listed.

Got a call from this number.

I missed the call but they left a 4minute answer message with no talking, just someone fumbling around with paper.

Dec. 19, 2014:   Caller ID said 'New York"  516-746-9347   Automated message saying this is the final notice -- "the IRS is suing you"  then said to call another number,  202-684-3502.   Lots of complaints already under that number:  https://www.callercenter.com/202-684-3502.html

I answered this call and a man with a Indian accent started cursing me out using vile language....When I called the # back it was not in service.

Just got a phone message saying the IRS was suing me and to call 253-245-3159. Not paying it any attention. The IRS always always leads with a letter. This is a scam.

I got a phone call from the above mentioned number aka Microsoft. After I told him (e Indian guy) I wasn't interested. He asked if I lived my husband and if I could have sex with him instead. GROSS!! He the, blocked his number and called back a few hours later, I just hung up. This has totally gotten out-of-hand.

Call from "Susan" like f-ck!! From talk talk to fix a router problem, could I turn on my computer, told her haven't got one, (have really) she hung up !!
