I received repeated calls from 1 518-745-7135.  Whoever was calling would hang up when I would answer.  When I dialed *69, the woman who answered lied by denying that she called me (however her number showed up on Caller ID).  I am making a complaint.

They have been calling Mon. thru Fri at least once a day for 2 weeks.  I answered once and they hung up.  Now I check caller id and don't answer if it's them.. What is their problem?  They are harrassing us for some reason.

From what I've been told that the calls are actually being made by a marketing research company called Colwell & Salmon Communications which is hired by various companies.  Their website is www.colwell-salmon.com and their headquarter's phone number (800-724-5318).

I've seen people post on other sites that if you contact them they will gladly take your number off their calling lists.

Calls and just hangs up, when you call the number back it just rings.

Wow...you did your homework.  Thanks for the info.  The calls are annoying but calls and calls and calls.  I don't answer.  I thought I had not checked or clicked the box for "do not call" and I do not give out my number, but somehow they find out.  This kind of marketing DOES have to stop.

I called the above number 212-502-0580 ext.227.  I talked with a Mr. Gordon Keyes who informed me that George Santiago USED to work there but no longer does.  I notified him that the company he works for is to CEASE & DESIST from calling the number XXX-XXX-XXXX.  Do not give your name, just your phone number that they have been calling - you have the right to privacy - and they only need to know to place that number on THEIR Do Not Call List!
If this fails to stop them, then using your phone option to call forward to a different number and list his number or any harassing number to his number.  That way he will be calling his own company!

They will not leave a message or let the answering machine get it after three rings.

Calls at all times of day. Answer and no one there. Been going on for a couple of months now.

I called this number and he said they are the HISTORY CHANNEL.

Thanks for that info. I never subscribed to any of those magazines, but I get the calls from that number and no one answers.  What they get out of calling people and not talking is beyond me.  The no call list obviously is a fluke because I am on that and these harassing calls come through all the time.  Might just pull the phone out and use my cell, it's too annoying!

This number is listed as Mktg Svc.  They want to do "surveys."  When asked to not call back the guy actually laughed at me and then hung up.  They called back an hour later.  I not receive calls 1-6 times a day half the time no one ever answers.  Report them to the donotcall website.  If enough people report them then the government can go after them.

I've never had anyone answer when I pick up and I'm calling everyone I can to get this stopped. For YEARS this hab s been going on ? It's ridiculous and unlawful. If I find a way to hget this stopped I will come back here and share with everyone.

Tired of this person calling everyday including Sunday. I have caller ID and I will not answer it. If they want me so bad I have a answering machine. They won't use it.

This number keeps calling my home phone on the average of 5 times a day.  I answer and no one is there and then if I keep saying "hello" it hangs up on me.  I tried calling back this number and no one answeres.  It is really getting on my nerves.
