Got a call  and a hang up no message. Where are they getting these cell phone numbers to callll?

same as everyone else they call i dont answer and they leave no message

seems as though its a scam. We are all getting the same number calling us and no one answers when we call it back. the phone company knows who this is. Im getting my police friend to look in to it for me.

got a call from this number too, it asked to press 1 to lower your credit card rate
when i did not it dropped my call

Same thing here in Oregon. Got the recorded call on cellphone I have only had for a few days! My third incoming call was from these creeps. Called them back and like many of you got message that their voice mailbox was full.

When I tried to file complaint on do not call list website with FTC it said I could not because my number was the same as the company's phone number. Say what? So I asked for a verification of my 3 numbers listed FTC. No problem. Then did a verification as though I was the company, that is, used my email with their phone number. It came back verified as though their number was associated with my email. How???

Anyway, it makes it impossible to file a complaint with the FTC because it looks as though I am filing a complaint about my own phone number!

Is this some new way to defeat the do not call list?

I have had this same recorded marketing call many times before on my land line but it was the fact that it was on my new cellphone that really made me mad. Don't waste my minutes as well as my time!

In Cleveland, picked up, a recording about interest rates.  This is a cel phone, wasting my minutes.  How can we stop these people?  FCC has made rules about this.

Telemarketing scam, This number along with other numbers from the same type of company call my cell, my husbands office and his personal cell that is a Government secured line. He has told them to remove the number or he would turn it over to security investigation and the guy said they can't.. Ignore the calls they will stop eventually. I hang up without answering and put an annoying ring tone for them to listen to while they wait..I also set a ring tone for numbers that call my phone off of my contact list

another scam that calls is a credit repair or a payday loan company. they are desperate for work or scamming. Don't answer, they can't waste minutes if you don't answer. They fish till they get someone to answer. eventually they will take your number out of the call list, as no contact. Best advice is ignore it. Anyone  credible will leave message

Get occasional calls from this number which is nothing but a marketing scam.

They called my number, I answered and no one talked, I called back and it goes directly to a voice mail that is full. No idea who is calling but probably is a Scammer

They called me today (06/30/2010) morning. Didn't pick up the phone. They didn't left any voicemail. Search online and found this discussion list. So putting that number in my DO NOT PICKUP list. :)

My cell while on silent got a call from this number yesterday around 3:30 p.m., and there was no message in my voice mail.

I got the call a few minute ago, and I received it but kept quite (Lately,I have been receiving  this type of call a lot), so after 25 seconds the call is ended, I couldn't hear any sound.
