- JessicaThis [***] calls my home phone every single day! Today he claimed to be Jordan from Microsoft, my grandfather with dementia picked up the phone, and was swindled into giving him his bank card information, and installed a program on his lap top that inabled him to take over. When I saw who it was on the phone with grampa I immediately confronted "Jordan", he was very aggressive, and denying that he was a scam. After we hung up the phone, I didn't realize right away that he still had control of my grandfathers computer, so 5 minutes later I saw that he was still entering in my grampa's bank information and charging him $299 for somthing! I struggled with control of the mouse for what seemed like forever! Meanwhile we were on hold with the bank to block whatever he was trying to charge. The bank person said someone had just tried to charge my grampa, but we were in time to block it.

- AeficMy grandfather recieved a call from this number, saying he had won a BMW. I was given the phone and could tell it was a solicitor, so I hung up. We were then called again, and the man very aggressively asked "why did you hang up on me?"
I said "don't call this number anymore" and he says "or else what?" "Look I'm here with my grandfather and if I hear you call again I'm going to track this number and ask the authorities about it." He hung up after that.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Not conned| 1 replyGot a call and the voice claimed to be my grandson who as in a traffic accident and needed $2000 to pay for the damage to a rental car. The car rental manager got on the line and said if I would pay for the damage he wouldn't submit a accident report. After being told that if I would purchase four $500 iTunes cards and call his cell 201-845-6265 with the numbers he and my grandson would resolve the issue. I asked to talk to the grandson again and when he came on line I asked him a couple of questions that he would know the answer to and the call was abruptly ended,
- ohsomadThis number called my mom and pulled the "granny" scam - claiming to be her grandson, in trouble, needed $2,000 - then gave phone to his "lawyer," who said he could solve the problem if she paid $2,000 restitution in the form of ITune cards. My mom is a little wiser, but $2,000 poorer.

- LiseDid not answer and no message was left on voice mail. I believe though that it's a scam from a guy pretending to be from Microsoft but who actually wants to steal computer information. Do not fall for this scam! So annoying!

- ErickaThis is the number from a 'Walter Burns' who is a 'court-appointed public defender.' He will try to convince you a loved one is in jail, but he can get them released if you buy iTunes cards and give him the numbers. CRIMINAL SCAM!!!

- CandaceThey are switching it up! Just got a call from this number and a man with an Indian accent told me he was from the U.S. Government - I then proceeded to tell him it was a scam and I would report it. He then said they are the FBI and can deport my family. "No you can't", I replied, and hung up on him. New scam I suppose because they have found out the IRS scam is becoming ineffective. Scum ...

- Susie CruisieScammer with heavy accent saying he's Peter, from Windows support, and for several days my computer has been sending him distress signals because it's been infected with a dangerous virus. He will walk me through the steps for safely removing it. I said Oh dear, please help me! and Peter told me to switch my computer on, then tell him when it was fully on. I said okay, then waited. A couple of minutes later he asked if my computer was fully on, I said Not yet. He told me to take my time and just let him know. He put me on hold and came back in a minute or so asking if it was fully on, I said Not yet, so he put me back on hold, came back, etc. This lasted for around 10 minutes then he finally hung up. I could hear similarly-accented male voices in the background giving the same spiel. It didn't sound like anyone was falling for it.
- MotowneThis is a bogus caller. Someone who spoke very poor English called me to tell me that there was something wrong with my computer. Nobody is going to call you from any tech support company unless you have called them first and your tech support agent should be speaking your language.
