Just got a call this am. Same number-terrible phone reception! Indian accent-said he was from the IRS-got irate when I started making him repeat info. The IRS calling on a Sunday...really. Gave same number to call back and talk to Michael Johnson. Called no answer. I will be calling the State Attorney General regarding this matter!

I was contacted by an IRS inspector at 530-377-6497 telling me that I owed money and I needed to Michael Johnson who is my case investigator. He knew my first name and last on top of that my home address. I called few times this Indian guy answered and told me that he was the next president after obam and hang up on me. ( today is dec 09,2013)

Thank you for all the postings. I just got a call from someone claiming to be John Williams saying he was calling from the IRS on behalf of his supervisor Michael Johnson. Indian accents and definitely suspicious message. This site confirmed that.

The number that was left was 5303776497.  I was told I would be hit with legal action if I didn't call "John Williams".  Clearly a fraud.

Is there anyway we can catch these people who are out there to threaten people mentally in order to take the money from them?  a family member just got a call from the same name (Jennifer and Michael) and same phone numbers on Sunday night 12/8 at 9:00 pm and Monday morning at 7:00 am.  Same exact conversation - legal action , jail time and amount of money $8500.

My wife was called this morning about past taxes from a man claiming to be Phillip Anderson (with an Indian accent). He told her to call Michael Johnson @ 530-208-9830- he refused to give her a return call number for him. He claimed he was a para legal and Mr. Johnson had all the info. >>>>>>>>SCAM ALERT!!!!!<<<<<<<
