Call back to the number got the familiar "boink" followed by, "Thank you for calling Walmart fraud prevention."  So here's the scoop.  I couldn't find this number listed anywhere on the Walmart site but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't Walmart.  If you have a Walmart card or a Walmart account, call the number on your card or the published customer service number.  Ask to be transferred to the fraud department.  Scammers are clever but never ignore a fraud alert.  Don't give any information to a caller.  Initiate the call yourself.  One of the things scammers like to do is throw doubt on legitimate fraud calls.  Again, call the number on your card or Walmart's customer service number and ask for the fraud department.
