I have no idea who this company is and don't recall having such an outstanding debt but I told them I would settle for $20 bucks.........the hung up.

I am tired of this telemarketer waking me up and calling me when I have government do not call list!

I am tired of this phony telemarketer calling me and waking me up and disturbing my life!

I've gotten two calls around the same time (12:30-1:30pm) the past two days. No message is left. I see comments saying this is a debt collector (but that they also call relatives for debt as well). As far as I know, I do not have any debts and my credit score remains at 800. I really hate companies that do not leave messages, as it's hard to take calls during work and, well, how do we know who we're calling back? I might call just to ensure I didn't forget to pay something far back, but it's annoying that they don't leave messages or send letters. Once I forgot to pay off the last of my power bill when I moved and I got a letter from a debt collector, which made me realize I needed to pay and so I did...

Maybe you should be the one to read the laws. It is legal, unless told otherwise

This number has called my cell phone asking for my exhusbands phone number. Been divorced since 2006. The number still is calling....say nothing. If I’m unavailable they do not leave message. Today 3x’s in a minute, all at 1:29. I do not have outstanding bold, including medical. I have called credit bureau to be sure that even a subcontracted Dr. from ER, pathology, or Radiology bill didn’t reach me. All good. Credit score’s from 3 companies 776🆙. Use of threat, violence or other criminal means to harm a person, reputation or property
Use of obscene or profane language
False representation that the debt collector represents a state or federal government
Misleading information on the amount or legal status of a debt
False implication that debt collector is an attorney or law enforcement officer
Implication that nonpayment of a debt will result in arrest or imprisonment

I don't want to do all that you suggested for these [***]!  Just block number and forget it.  Smartphone won't put it through.

Called and asked for someone who doesn’t live here. I’ve had this number for close to 15 years! She didn’t identify herself or the company she works for so I looked it up or why she was asking for someone who doesn’t have the same last name as me. It belongs to a collection agency.

I returned the call after I missed it. A man with a very strong accent identified the company as the Social Security Administration. I was kind of surprised that this is how he answered the phone. But figured it was something fishy.. So I laughed at him.. Said really and hung up then looked for notes on the number.
