Police Officer cell phone got called no one knows number only police deptments/dispatch center. Awncered phone no one talked.

Got the call rang a few times and before I could answer they hung up.  No message

I also rec'd a call from this number.  Call it back and it was busy. No voicemail was left.
Some people just don't have a life, I guess.?

ditto..... got a call and when I called back it was always busy.  Hence did a reverse look up and find I am one of many recipients.

Yep, Just got the Call, Phoenix AZ, let it ring without answering but they left no voicemail, I will answer next time, and just string them along having fun along the way!!! - Got to love it.

5412912440 called my cell phone (duly registered on National Do Not Call list) in Pontiac, MI at 5:35pm. They have left no message.

I was with a friend watching Puss in Boots at the local theater. It was a critical time in the movie in which Humpty Alaxander Dumpty reveals that he has in fact betrayed poor Puss in order to get revenge! Just then! I received a phone call from the number (541) 291-2440! Using my secret Internet skills I have been able to trace this call to the state of Oregon. I was extremely tempted to answer this call! Knowing that I know of nobody from this mysterious state, I still wondered on. Could it be a friend who had bought a phone from there during a cross country road trip? Maybe it was someone calling me to inform me that I had dropped my wallet! I HAD TO CHECK FOR MY WALLET! I was relieved to find it still in my pocket where I had put it after purchasing my movie ticket. So who was this mysterious caller? As I was going through all the possible scenarios I had failed to notice that I had missed the critical moment you have to answer that call before it goes to voicemail! Just like that my opportunity to solve this mystery was over... I know I will lose sleep tonight trying to figure it out... Just got a call from them, I had tried to answer (I am from Oregon) and they hung up on me!  Glad I looked here first instead of calling them back!

This all stems from some stupid "free" thing on Facebook!  Now I get all these stupid survey calls.

But how was the movie?  Did you miss very mich of it to look at your phone?  Did the other patrons of the theater get pissed at you for looking at your phone while in a theater?

So many unanswered questions!
