received today

I got a call today from the same number.  They didn't left a message.

So is there a way I can call them back and tell them to stop or do I have wait around for them to call back? And they are asking for me by my full name on my gf's phone so how did they get my name and that number?

I am consistantly receiving calls from this number all hours of the day and night.  At first it would go to voice mail and then hang up, now as if they know what to expect, they'll hang up before the last ring to voice mail.  No messages are ever left.   I have not answered because I do not recognize this number and have no one that I know in that state.

Had 3 calls over the last week , asking for my husband, I trold them that we didnt apply for a grant, My husband said he didnt apply for a grant. . They wont talk to me. they say it is a courtesy call.

these dam people keep calling all the time,, never say a word,,  called as late as 11:30  p.m
as early as 6 a.m

Agent was seeking a member of my household who was not available; he wouldn't leave me a contact number, web page, or name of the  'foundation' he represented.
The whole call stunk to high heaven and sounded like a scam coming down.

I have been called several times from the above number and most of the time I get hung up on.  I did call back and try to put my name on their do not call list, but they still keep calling.

Same here....calls all times during the day.. I answer... silence then..dial tone...called Mo. no call 6 months ago, I still get the calls.

I  wish   I didn't give that [***] my bank # Am  a fool for believing that [***].

This woman with a heavy Hispanic accent calls up in the middle of the day and tells Mrs. Redneck that she is eligable for "free money from the government for home improvements." When the woman mentions the "nominal $4.99 fee" Mrs. Redneck "plays dumb"and asks about payment methods. The spieler then talks about credit card numbers. Mrs. Redneck replies that the Rednecks, not having "the most best credit history, you know" asks about alternative payment methods. At this point I, listening to all this from the kitchen, just about fall off of the stool I was sitting on chopping some vegetables for lunch.  In reply to a request for a checking account routing number Mrs. Redneck replies that this is not possible because the family bank had requestedn that we not do any business through the checking account until the overdrafts were caught up with. "Why don't I just send you a money order," Mrs. R cheerfully offers. Do you want the free money from the government or not querries the telemarketer. We can only do business in one of the two methods mentioned. "Well," Mrs. Redneck replies in an exasperated tone of voice, "if cash isn't good enough for you, I guess there is something not quite right with your entire business model. Goodbye." After we stopped laughing, we started wondering how they obtained our identities. Since we had recently purchased a "fixer upper" house, the offer seemed too close to what we would really hope for to be mere coincidence. If they call again, we'll tell them to take us off of their call list. If they call a third time, it's countermeasures for sure. Anyone out there have a good Trojan Horse program we can feed back to these people to fry thier operating systems? Yoiks and away folks.

On Aug. 09, 2010, I received a telephone call from 1 561 768-4051 telling me that I had inquired about free grant monies over the internet and I would receive an e-mail from this company with a confirmation number in a few minutes, but I have not received it yet? And as I did further research, I looked up the company's website and saw all of these complaints against them and this is why I am sending this comment too you! I would like all of my information erased from your data base and my 4.95 returned immediately or I will get in contact with the proper authorities! You should be ashamed of yourselves and I should be more careful, for this is out of character for me! I'll know next time to let the voice mail pick up and delete it after I hear your message!
