This number and another number from some nursing college have been blowing up my phone these past few days. I have been working on my Masters for almost a year now and both of these numbers claim to want to talk about joining their colleges. They both said they would remove me from their phone lists, but they keep calling.

There are a few people posting on here thinking that the caller will get the info by saying "do not call me".  This forum is so that people can look up the number that called them to find out who it is.  It is just for that information.  If you want to tell the caller to stop calling you, then you have to communicate that to them if the call again OR you can block their number.

these fukers called me today and said they were following up on an application. I said what application? I asked repeatedly to provide me with the information that they have. First it was supposidly a link I clicked on? If i clicked on a link HOW IN THE HELL DID MY CELL NUMBER GET INVOLVED? I told him I'm posted our conversation and I will post it on Facebook also. I've complained to the FCC also. I want to  know how they are gettin our numbers if they are on the DO NOT CALL LIST?? DO WE HAVE  RECOURSE??????

I filled out two forms on two websites - indeed.com and the EDD website from California.  Judging from what others have reported this call must have been generated from the info entered on one of these sites.  The call was garbled and in slow motion.  I couldn't make out any words from the recorded message on my phone.  When I called the number it was from a company called Student Help Center dot com asking me to stay on the line and talk to a specialist - No Thanks!  I received another call from someone in Newport Beach, CA almost immediately afterward who said she was from EDSU - a continuing education company.  She was considerate, nice, and told me that she would not bother me any longer if I was not planning to go back to school.

I've also been receiving calls from this number for the past week. One a day, no message, at about the same time of day. Today I answered, and the person on the line said she was from TheStudentHelpCenter.com. I was considering going back to school not too long ago, but I don't think I've ever been to this website before today.

I NEVER filled out unemployment or online student things, surveys or job applications.  The only people I give my cellphone to are family and close friends.  I get daily calls from this harassing jerk asking how I was and using sexual language.  They use a voice distorter thing and have a deep weird voice kind of like darth on star wars dude.  I told them to stop calling me and I was on the do not call list.  Please file complaints with the FCC and DNC to get spammers like this removed.

I know that these are harvested from job search sites since I've been registering on dozens of them and they all have a checkbox to "continue my education."  I always leave it checked or unchecked depending on what the opt-out is, but it sure doesn't seem to work with vultures.

I get a call from this number once every weekday. the first time I answered, I heard background talking that I couldn't make out-- someone had hung up just as soon as I said hello.

Second incident-- I returned the call, and got an automated message for the "student help center"

Third incident-- they left a voicemail, laughing and making strange noises.  The number was then blocked.

I had a similar experience. except the most recent one, they left a very strange voicemail. someone laughing and making unusual noises.  I wish I had kept it for documentation, but out of reflex I deleted the voicemail as a prank call..
