Got a text out of the blue using my first name and asking if I had any future goals for my house. No indication of who the person or company sending the text was.

[First name of cell service account holder], what's next for [home address of account holder]?

Spammy, scammy garbage.

We got them too. Annoying real estate agents. Should be illegal.

realtor looking for my husband asking about our house. slimy. google search comes up as Jill Duffy.

Caller - Jill A Duffy (570-791-2163) is relentless. I have not responded to her FOUR texts in a span of SIX days.  Uses my first name as if she knows me.  Third text was this "If I overstepped in any way [my first name was used], I just want to say sorry"  WTF???  Yea. ok. I'll sell my vacation home to you. For double the value that Zillow reports!!

If you are on the DNC list report this attempt as a violation.  The FTC has stated that unsolicited texts and calls from persons wanting to purchase property are, in fact, telemarketing calls.  Also report the call to your carrier as SPAM.  That should trigger the carrier's own block.
