These people called my mother and told me I had 48 hrs to respond to some type of "restrained bank account order". When I call the number they left I am on hold and never able to get through.

Got a call from these" people" stateing as all of you know already they are an investagator, and a restraining order had been filed against me. Fine. Told them my son a detective with the NYC POLICE DEPT would call them back, or they could call him, and possibly get arressted, if the call was a scam, or a shady attempt to collect monies MS. Rivera hung up.After speaking with my son, he told me.( I am a senior, and was worried someone had a restraining order out against me in PA) was told he would contact Pa to have Them investigated...... Don't talk to these people. They will try to make a payment arrangement with you but need your credit card #, or bank account #. to settle your account. Funny thing they never told me exactly WHO they were calling for?? Just that because I didn't have an attorney it would be easier to just deal with them, and SETTLE my account with them.BEWARE!!!!!

Called claiming I had to appear in court within 24 to 48 hours and gave me a docket number. I attempted to contact them at Central Processing, whatever that may be.  I have received one to two phone calls every day for the last three days.

Said Case Number AAG-3-2482 and I had a restraining order against me and to contact my attorney and call 570-983-0544.

Received an automated voicemail 8/21/2012 to call Central processing services 570-983-0544. the Civil Investigation unit.  Stating I had been named in a court action suit and must appear.  To forward the affidavit number AAT3.... to my attorney immediately and must respond in 24 to 48 hours.   There is no reason for me to receive a call with this type of content.   I called the number for two consecutive days, selected the number the prompt and the system automatically placed you on hold with music.   I held for 15 minutes no one every picked up the phone.   I am contacting my States Attorney's office as well as the U.S. Attorney's office to log an official complaint.   This type of call could be a new method of identify theft.

The people at this number (570-983-1880) called saying they were processing a restraing order against my stepson. My step son was murdered 3 years ago in Tucson.

If this is not a fraud comapny - what is?

I received this same call on my cell phone (210) area code....I hung up on the recorded message and tried to call back twice. Both times I was on hold after trying different prompts just to see if I could get to a live person. I called the PA sheriff and was told to call the local FBI.

Ticked me off, but even more so thinking of the elderly and/or younger kids who may be taking these calls as legitimate.

When I Googled the buiness, there are a few that come up under Central Process Services, including one in Las Vegas - which makes you think that it might be legitimate. But it has one employee, so it might even be part of the scam.

Beware....

I have gotten a call from these jokers...Simple...if you don't recognize the number, and you know you don't have any outstanding debts, don't answer...there will be a voicemail, just delete it.  Its harrassing, yes, but thats why caller id is so great!   If you don't recognize the number, don't answer it.  What I don't get though...my numbers are unlisted...how the hell do they get my numbers?

Got a message from them today about some civil suit. THey called the wrong guy. IF what yall are saying is true they are toast. I have pre-paid legal.

I just received a message by them.  They said they were a Civil Investigating Unit and a restraining order and complaint had been filed.  The DUMMIES used my daughters name who works at a law firm and she even said that this is a scam do not call.  I mean do these people not check out names first

I got a call on my cell and they called my work.

they called my husbands cell and work. They said that they are going to file a restraing order on him. The person who called him, Elexie ingrahm.

live in Indiana and we got the same message saying 24 to 48 hrs. to cal bak civil suit filied against me ....wit restrainin order blah blah...etc...called number bak never no answer ...they were callin my job home just insane BS ....the number ur to call is ...570-983-0544 ,,,,so these ppl who ever they really knew how to crop and shop to make this sound like u were in serious [***]....i hope one day they catch em cuz i personnaly would love to ring there necks......i was never so happy to see that i was not alone in this and to see this is a scam everyone who posted there messages were saying the same exac word word wat these idiots were trying to get ppl believe they had a civil matter chargers against them.....so i hope they get caught....thank u for ur time,,,sincerely, gen w.

So i get home from work yesterday and my wife informs me about these central processing group people calling and telling me that i have a restraining order also and so on and so forth you guys know what all was said it was everything that was said to you the only difference is there calling from a different number and its 1(617)600-4177. It says there from Watertown, MA.

Looks like this number has moved on to utility scams judging by the caller ID "Power Center." I didn't bother to pick up.
