Got this call with dead air on the other end.

Just got a call from this number to my cellphone. Identified themselves as "Marketing tours in mexico"; a girl who identified as Tanya said that I apparently won a vacation from them. After talking with her for a few minutes I stopped her and asked what would she need from me in order for me to have that vacation. She said that I would have to give her my credit card number by the end of the call. I said, "so you call a random person and ask him for a credit card number???". Right after that a recording "Your number was added to our do not call list" played and the line cut off.

Got a call today Nov 20, 2009 at 12:24 pm EST. I answered, heard nothing. I phoned the number back thinking it was a bad connection(I was expecting a long distance call) and got the recording of the lady voice saying ... "You are calling from ***-***-**** if this is the number you wish to move press 1 now, or if you would like to enter a number press 2 now" So I pressed 1. The odd thing is that it seems they are expanding into Canada with the scam. If they call again I will report it to the RCMP.

called didnt leave a message, hope they dont call again

they just called me in CANADA about winning a trip to orlando.... total [***], i hung up on them.

they called, it was an automated thingy saying to "press 1 to accept your trip to orlando", I stayed on the line, and eventually a person picked up asking to talk to Liza -- I said "There's no one here by that name" and he said, "didn't I call " (insert completely bogus number), I said no and he apologized and hung up.

Weird.

This number called me Nov 30th 2009 at 16h29 telling me I won a trip to Orlando, to press 1 to accept ????  pressed 1 and the call went dead.

I am from Montreal too and I got a call on my cell. Did not notice until much later.

I thought this sort of stuff was illegal anyway?

I received that call a minute ago... Recording saying that I was selected for a free vacation in Florida. It's a scam! Do not press any option or give your approval for anything!This fraudulent company have a very aggressif way of targeting and harassing people. And I thought I wasn't suppose to get any of those calls since I've was registered in the DO NOT CALL LIST?

Got a call... something about having been pre-selected for a one week trip to Walt Disney and staying in Cancun Mexico for 4 days??? I realized it was a recording...I hung up!

Same thing for me... the machine told me that I won a trip (or that I could win one?) in Cancun and Orlando blablabla. I live in Montreal and I really wonder where they found my phone number... Does someone know how to delete this kind of calls?!

Also just got a call in Montreal. Perhaps they are just trying random 514 numbers.

A recording from "Drew from the Orlando Rewards Center" who wanted to tell me I just won an all-expense paid trip to Cancun if I give them my credit card number...

Same here won a kind of "vacation" what the hell is this

And they called two 514 numbers and I answered both.  Same recording.

Just got a called on my 514 cellphone. Didn't answer though because I noticed the area code was not Canadian.

I just got the call on my cell in Montreal but did not answer as I did not reconize that number.
