Call was a recording saying that PA atty General Tom Corbett does not like pA Gov Rendell's views on Gun Control

I actually drove through Virginia on the day the ID caller had the name on it,I was  wondering if it was the hotel we stayed at.I called the number and it says it's disconnected,but it deffinetly wasn't the hotel,I checked their #.So I guess its a random pain in the you know where call.

This number has appeared on my Caller ID for a few weeks now. The call comes in around the same time each time but no messages are left. I have called the number twice, once right after receiving the call, but the number is disconnected. I'm on every possible do-not-call list and have a private number that is not listed in the directory. It irks me that the organization behind this number feels the need to bother me every day.

They keep calling however never leave a message

this was the message left on my voice mail from that number:

Atty Gen Tom Corbett has the duty to police casinos but Corbett took $50,000 in campaign money from casino owner and convicted felon, Lou Nagle (don't know if that's the right name, it was said very quickly) who is now charged with perjury for lying about his connections to organized crime.

Call Tom Corbett and ask him to return the gambling money and cut his ties to Nagle (couldn't really understand the name).

I did not answer the phone since I did not recognize the number. I was surprised to find it left a voice message. The voice message was cut off and started with "..convicted felon, Lou Nagle.."  (Thank you Amber for putting in the full message). I do not know who any of these people are and I thought I was on the no-call list. It is very annoying to be called in the middle of work.

I'm getting called everyday, no message on my CELL PHONE.  When I dial the number, I get a "this number has been disconnected" message.  Is this illegal?  Is there anything that can be done about it?  I am also on no-call lists.

FYI - I guess political organizations aren't covered under the government's Do Not Call List  (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt107.shtm).  Hmmm.

Just received a 1.5 second message from this number saying "Birthday Pack". ???

Got a call from the same number last week with the Corbett message.

I didn't get to the phone in time to answer the call from this number.  The message was a polital poll asking me if I was a democrat or republican.  I think it is time for stiffer laws.  I just love how the politicians put the loop hole in the law to protect their rights to be a pain in the backside not to mention the one for those begging for money claiming to be a charity.

I tried to call this number back, but got the message this number is no longer in service... again it would be nice to have laws to make this a crime.  If you are going to be big enough to call someone's house then you should be big enough to use a phone that accept incoming calls as well.  Well there is my two cents.

Answered this number as I have family in Virginia, and a Granddaughter in college there but no one spoke to me just hung up. Called back & message said,number was disconnected.

Another call from USA-PAC campaigning against Tom Corbett, this time relating to the PA legislators' pay raise legislation.

just got this call on my cell, didn't answer because i searched the # while it was ringing and saw this.  we get this message on our home line too.  this should be illegal.  how annoying.  and how in the heck did they get my cell number?!?!  makes me want to vote FOR corbett to go against the annoying calls.

I get a call from this number EVERY DAY and they hang up.  When I call back, it says it is disconnected.  How can this be stopped?

I get a call from 571-431-7180 EVERY DAY and no one answers or lets a message.  I have called this number only to get a recording stating the number is disconnected.  What is going on?

when call came in I couldn't answer phone, friend was here, answered but said no one was on the line....number showed up on caller ID missed calls
