They started calling me today after I filled out info on free financial aid and grants. I clicked off the site because it wanted $30. 2 days later they call me every 5 minutes and wont answer. I called carrier and finally blocked it. I screamed to STOP CALLING me!! They called right back. Freaks

Caller keeps calling my number and hanging up. No one there at all.

Me, too!  They keep calling our work number.

if everyone they called could actually get through, than they should bombard them with counter offers if they just give u their bank info

This number has been calling my home for 2 days straight about every 10-15 minutes about 12 times per day.  When I call back this number there is no answer.

Have received several calls in a row from this number. It says it's disconnected.

I am having the same problem, they have been calling every hour since  this morning.  I know others have mentioned applying for aide and then getting these calls.  We havent applied for any aide, the only things online that we have given our information to was realty agents because we are looking for a rental property.  Not sure how they got my number.  I am having the same problems as everyone else though.  When you call it back its a nonexsistant number, but when you answer its dead... NOONE there.  Is this just to mess with us or what??

I recently placed an order online, and two days later (which is last night) i started getting calls. same thing as other commenters--number unknown and upon return call, invalid number.

They called eight times yesterday. Don't know how they got my number. Haven't applied for any grants. They don't leave a message. They just say hello into my voicemail several times and hang up. Then, they do it again.

Same problem .... so ... I can't block the call at the level of my phone, and AT&T (worthless as they might hope to avoid being) say that they can sell me a monthly service to block the call .... but won't do anything otherwise ... except change my phone number.  Oddly, it seems like the harassment could be a clever way for AT&T to drum up sales of their service.  

I asked if the customer service person at ATT if they ... the big powerful semi-monopoly phone company ... would try to find a way to protect us ... no way ... they don't do this stuff.  They sent me to a website where they said that I would be able to enter in the phone number ... but the www.ATT.com/ACB site is as worthless as the phone service.

There aught to be a law.

If you are on ATT, then key in   " * 6 0  " on your cell phone and talk to their "service" people.
