please stop calling

Recived a call from this telephone number 585-598-6196 Female voice with Boston Accent asked for a Daniel Cleveland, I stated I do not know anyone by that name this is the second call within one week from this number.

I keep getting calls from this number and don't even answer the phone.

Caller only identified herself by name only. She asked for my son, who was not available (he's 22). I told that I was his mother and I can take care of what ever information it is that she needed. She refused said that she was handling some paperwork for him. I asked where she was calling from, but refused to tell me.

I don't know why they all of a sudden started calling my phone. I haven't been in school for over 30 years.
I just want it to stop.

They have been calling me non stop!  They said they were a debt collection agency.  They are trying to get information about an old friend.  They wanted his phone number and work information, tax documents ect.  They told me that his student loans had defaulted and they needed to be put on a repayment program.  I told my friend this, and he call the student loan office.  they confirmed that this agency is A FRAUD.  The phone call is a scam.

Got a call from these guys, caller identified himself as Dave Pucciarelli (A name I looked up online later.  Only name match was an artist/photographer).  Very slick, using a bit of personal information, which probably wasn't too difficult to dig up online, regarding student loans, job, and adress.  He told me that my student loans were about to go into default, but if I paid a certain amount he could keep it from happening.  I let him know I couldn't pay the amount he asked for, and he offered a couple more "payment plans" options, and claimed he was a supervisor.  He became very intent on getting "some form of payment," and I told him I left my card at home, and asked for a number to call him back later.  By this time, the whole thing had gotten suspicious, and wanted to take some time to look up the company.  Without even sharing my suspicions, he offered his (fake) name and a website I could check to "prove" he was on the level.  He finally relented and gave me a number to call him back (866-633-7945, another number that came up on a scam list), told me he'd be in office until 9 pm (an oddly late working hour), and told me that his "offer" of a reduced payment was something I had to agree to immediately, or I would miss the opportunity (despite his claim to be a "supervisor").
Stay vigilant, folks.  They nearly got me, too.

This is ConServe a Debt collection company that collects Student Loans.  There address is P.O. Box 457
Fairport, NY. 14450-0457.  This company make a percentage of what they collect, and will say make any
threat to get you to pay.  They will call your employment and speak with your employer about you not paying your debt.  They will call your parents and friends, and if they speak with you they will tell you they are with the Department of Education and will have you arrested at your job.  This is a skum bag company and you can get even with them by filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  You can do this
online.  Also send a letter to whatever agency they are trying to collect for.  I they get complaints that are in
violation of Public Law 104-208 they can be closed down.  If the student loan department gets alot of complaints they will stop using this company.  Make them pay for there illegal acts.  Close them Down

Hey Jim, I am so angry they keep calling my work and I do NOT have student loans. They told my boss man that I had defaulted on a student loan. I had to pull up all the complaints on here to prove to him that they were scam artists. They are not a legitimate business. Notice the Con Serve, emphasis on Con. They are stealing money from students.

We have been getting phone calls from this company relentlessly - nights, days and weekends, asking for my step-daughter, who had listed her father as a reference.  We've explained numerous times that she is an adult, does not live here, does not speak to us, and we do NOT pay her bills!  We've asked to be taken off of Conserve's calling list, yet they continue to call and call and call. Tonight, they offered a return phone number of 866-633-7945 x2823 until 9pm.  We are NOT who you are looking for.  PLEASE STOP HARASSING US.

They said they needed contact info on a friend who gave them my number as a reference. I told them I hadn't talked to that person in over three years and she no longer has the same number. I guess because of my extremely sexy voice he asked for a date but he found out we're too far away from each other.

Got a call from someone with an American name but an Indian accent who claimed to be an IRS officer and said that we were in trouble and owed taxes.  Impossible.  IRS never works like this.
