    Think this is some kind of premium rate spammer. I got a spam text saying if I wanted to stop the messages, to text STOP to 60073 - but when I tried, my phone warned me I would be charged.

    The message says its from MoneySupMkt but I've never used that or any affiliated website.

    Text seemed to be from my credit card provider. Gave my account balance and credit limit and invited my to reply STOP to stop future messages. My message app warned me I would be charged if I replied, so I did not. Looks like a very well informed scammer.

    Turns out this really was from the credit card provider (Capital One). They say it is OK to reply STOP to end the messages.

    I don't think that is the way a legit debt collector works - certainly not in the US or Canada. Since suspicious texts from this number go back to 2014, I think you can ignore this sort of spam.
