- LaramieI got a few hits for LifeGivingWomen through Google. This is some religious group - definitely not someone I want to talk to.

- Penny| 1 replyI received a call last week and the caller ID displayed Life Giving Women, now just this morning a call came through at 8:33 AM from a Life Giving Moment number (602)753-5621. A female voice called out my husbands first name.

- HeidiThe phone rang at 9am on a Saturday. I screen my calls, so I did not pick up. They did not leave a message. Caller ID listed this number and "LIFEGIVINGWOMEN". I have my phone registered with the National Do Not Call Registry, so I don't usually get telemarketing calls, but the registry expires after five years and I think my time may be up, so I just called them to re-register. I have found this government service to be quite effective. I highly recommend it. To register, you can call 1-888-382-1222, you must call from the phone number you want blocked, it's a brief call with an automated response. You can also register by going to www.donotcall.gov.

- irishmike1946Don't know who these people are (could be charitable because of the name?), but I didn't answer as I'm fed up with all the "charities" and telemarketers who call even though I'm on the do not call registry. They didn't leave a message which ALL telemarketers do not do either.

- Linda replies to JoeOr just let the statute of limitations run out and if they try to do something after that, report them to the state attorney general. They tried to file against me in court after the statute of limitations ran out, and the attorney general wrote them and got the suit withdrawn, plus they did not contact me for about 3 years. Still get mail occasionally because I guess they think I am one of the stupid ones who will write back saying I want to work this out. Once you write back with any kind of acknowledgement of the debt, they get to restart the clock on the statute of limitations, so never admit anything to them, ever.
- SeanLife Giving Women called, a woman started to leave a message but was cut off.

- againdidnt answer a call from this number today.
99% of all calls to my land line are scammers, I report them all here - annoyedGot a call asking for my husband by name, I said I would check if he was available, she said "Just so you know..." and hung up. I am annoyed.
- Caller: lifegivingwomen
- Meidego| 2 repliesCaller ID says Life Giving MOMENTS... not Live Giving Women. If you are going to make a report, it should be accurate.
I'm sure this is some right-wing group trying to change what is on TV. They obviously want to control everyone's watching habits.... kinda like the religious nuts who only want their religious beliefs honored. Fanatics are dangerous, no matter what the cause!
My best advice is.... if you don't know the number, don't answer!- Caller: Life Giving Moments
- BoogerShe said it was a survey, I asked how much they were paying. (I do paid surveys) She said there was no pay and I hung up the phone.
- Hiroko AWhoever that calls hangs up before my voice picks up so thanks to all of your comments - a number to call block.
- ichy7I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time. Our government is WORTHLESS, especially when it comes to blocking these calls. The only other course of action is this: First: turn your answering machine OFF, unless you go out.
Second: Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize. When you do all you are doing is confirming for them that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back AND sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too. If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does). If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.
Also, just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam. It doesn't work either. Also, I turn off my answering machine when I am home. If it answer then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number. Have a pleasant day. Sure am glad too for websites like this.
As far as Life Giving Moments I found this: These calls come from numerous locations and constantly changing numbers. Now for the facts direct (or maybe not so direct) from the web site:
lifegivingmoments.org. Presents ENGAGE award for film productions. Promotes Healthy Eating, Film that Matters, Our Environment. Address given only as: Santa Fe, NM. Phone: 505-819-3959.
The whole website is designed to draw you into taking their survey (apparently) about what children watch on TV and how many hours children spend on the internet (given as 7-10 hours a day). When you open up the form to apply to take the survey, the first information you are asked for is your phone number. There is a caption that says "don't give your phone number out on Google forms". Very interesting!

- uppa usI usually let the answering machine handle these calls, but yesterday I picked up and said nothing, just let some guy ask for someone I don't know. I hope I frustrated the caller by not responding.
- SATRec'd a call from Life Giving Moments today. Said they were a charity/survey so they do not have to follow 'Do Not Call' laws. With all of the complaints I see on this number what will it take to make this type of harassment stop. At this point I am considering just disconnecting my telephone..maybe that will get rid of the parasites!!!

- K. KellerMultiple calls from this number (602)753-5621, even though I've repeatedly asked to be removed from their call list. I've filed complaints on DoNotCall.gov but apparently that has no impact. They ask for a family member and will not disclose the purpose of the call. They keep saying 'I'll call back" and damnit, they do.
