they just called me but i ignored it

Today they call me and hang up, found this no as one call harassing one.

Got a call from a weird number 'I answered and I kept saying hello and no one said anything back

Was in the middle of a call while at work, I look over and happen to notice my cell phone just started ringing.
Didn't recognize the number, I was smart enough to reject the call and I checked here, of course, telemarketer scum....
I check this site all the time I get a call I don't recognize.

The only thing lower that telemarketers, is pond scum. And that's an insult to pond scum.

They called me saying they were the FBI and wanted to place a sign in my yard... Blah blah blah.

This isn't the first I have gotten this call.  I got the same exact one from another number (which I blocked)

How are they getting my number???

Just called for 2nd time in 2 weeks.  Same crap...The FBI reports a burlgary every 15 minutes, security company wants to put a sign on my lawn, etc.  They used a different number 1st time.

The automated message said "the FBI reports that a home break in happens every 15 mins and if you give us your address we can place something in your yard" I hung up before they said what kind of device they would place in my yard.

I got a call, no VM. This number has called my land line a few times. It's Auto Warranty. Ignore.

This is the third time they have called my phone but they use different numbers. I didn't answer the first 2 times but I picked up the third time cause I thought it was a friend. Before I immediately hung up, it was an automatic voice message saying something about the FBI...scary.

I just got my new cell a few days ago and some one called me from this number. I did not pick up. They have not left any message either so I am guessing it must be telemarketing.

I received a call from this number saying the were the FBI... Does anyone know how to protect your number from these types of scams?  Apparently paying to have an unlisted number is not sufficient.

[***] [***] called me even though I've no history in there books or computers. I know because there in Arizona I'm in New Jersey and have been my whole life
