60301

I just received a call from + 60 3 01. i'm using M1 postpaid.
The caller is a guy with british accent. And he knows my name! he just said "hello, tania" then hung up..

me too! i got a call from +60301, he told if i want to do online job. he said it is well paid,, of cuz i answered yes... then he don't call me again.. wtf.

I live in Singapore, M1 user. Got a call from +60301 at 3:50pm today. Picked up and I was waiting for that person to start talking but no one answered and then that person hangs up the phone. Tried texting that number but it says message failed to send. Then I went to Google and found this site. if that person wants to scam me, I also have no money to get scam because I'm just a student. No money...

I forgot to say something. There are people who falls for this type of scam as I have read about it in the news!! People need to be careful! Protect your hard earned $$.

I know that number. Actually it is a number of Pfingo (Singapore VOIP). I think someone (friend or family) called you. But Pfingo doesn't work well in slow connection or very low bill. And I don't work well in Mobile Network. You can call but cannot connect. So we hear the incoming tone but cannot answer.

People prefer Skype because it works in every type of network.

Pfingo don't work in Mobile and some WiFi.

I am based in Singapore and have received calls from this number for 3 weeks now. Keeps calling twice a day without fail, any idea how to block it?

received a call from +0023366332. Caller has Indian accent. Lady. Claims to be from Bank of China and wants to give me a free credit card and vouchers. Wants my particulars. I refused to give and  I ask for number to call back and  was given Tel No 62599717.  This number is apparently not in use.

did a survey over the phone once out of good will. some chinese lady calling claiming that she represents a wellness company trying to break into south east asia market. asked only for my age and full name and whether i have the habit of going to SPAs.

1 week later someone called asking me to go malaysia to attend an award ceremony(which i declined)

later in the week called again claiming that they are giving me a free membership card for some wellness spa, saying they will contact me again. Thought it might be a scam and ignored it for a week.

1 week later called again and said that i was one of 5 third place winners that won a set of spa equipment that costs 400k. (i picked it up without looking at the caller ID). tried to turn down their offer. but the guy over the phone was quite persistent, taking time to explain that they are trying to promote their products by offering the lucky draw( with kind of a pissed off tone) and hope that the winners will recommend their products and services to others. so i listened on...

then the guy asks whether i have room in my apartment for the equipment(for stuff like bath tubs). i said no. then they say that they have a similar case in malaysia whereby a man do not does not have room in his apartment, but negotiated for cash payment of 200k. they offered me the same deal. I got tempted(seemed like the perfect solution for my university problem) and gave my IC number.

Then they asks for bank account no. I told them to call me back later.

Discussed this with my family and they told me that it is probably an elaborate scam.

Then they called again. i did not pick up the phone. within the span of the next hour, i received multiple foreign phone calls, including +60301 and a private number.

On hindsight, everything looked really suspicious. Why would you give someone 400k worth of equipment and "hope" that they will recommend the products to others? why would they provide a gift that may not be suitable for every household? i also did ask whether i had to fill in anything, and they said they will help me fill in the form and i just have to give them my details over the phone.

I felt like an idiot, to trust someone so easily and be so easily tempted by money.


SO people, do watch out.

my friend received many calls from different number that unfamiliar.Please locate it and don't call again......

I have been receiving the calls for about a week, calls me everyday. The lady on the line sounds like Filipino claiming that she is from Singtel.

i receive this num too.. call everyday for 2 to 3 times. today they call again, i pick up and its a Filipino says she from Singtel and want give a lot of free channel for bio tv, broadband etc... i reject all.

I  jus called singtel and request them to block this number for me and they said cannot block a certain number and only can make police report.

Hi. I am from SIngapore. And I got this call +60301 at 11:30am on May 5, 2012. I answered with a few hello words and the line cut off by itself, it was like for few seconds. I wonder how much will be charged to be my phone bill. I am using Singtel.

Just a while a go I received this number then I didn't dare to pick up then I googled it on here and bam!! I found out that it is a spam!!

same here except mine has music playing.piano i guess

Got this +60 30 1 call few times already, got other strange number also but i didn't pick up, knowing it could be a spam. Can't some authorities stop them since some much people already gets these kind of calls? Can the telco do something? Police?

YOU MEAN NOBODY CAN DO ANYTHING???

Is this thread updated? I just received it as well. Saying something about bank offering coupons and voucher by signing up for their cards.
