want to report that I received a call from this company and this company try to charge my account of an alleged telephone listing or advertisement.
Recommendation: You must call the company and its service provider to leave an alert on your account so the company notifies ftc provider to suspend this phone and punish him for fraud.

Received a call from these crooks , stating you have $10,000. credit line for your business all is needed is a one time fee of $1.00 from your  bank account.
What is the number?  I asked, why don't you fax me your information?

They called me, no message left. I called the 800-639-9896 number listed above by Ian (Thanks!!!) and a very polite gentleman took my info and said my name would be removed. He'd never heard of someone calling to have their number removed, and it not happening.

Before you go off calling the FBI, keep in mind that Do Not Call lists don't last forever, you have to keep putting your number back on every so often. Also, telemarketers have more leeway to call business numbers (like mine) than personal numbers. Finally, while annoying as all h*ll, that alone doesn't make them "fraudulent" or "illegal" (unfortunately). Personally, I hope the FBI has better things to do than yell at some telemarketer who's merely annoyed me. There have been several calls at different times.  Latest Recorded was 9/12 @ 12:17.  Male voice on answering machine said a name(?) and then "Thanks a lot" First time caller has said anything.  We do not answer unknown calls we search the web first.  Our machine asks for aname and phone number.  Unidentifiable calls are not returned. suspect donation callers to my business.

The calls are a pre-recorded message telling me that I have been pre-appoved for a credit card. I don't know who they are because I am receiving these on my cell phone and I immediately hang up.
These calls are very annoying and I have no intention of accepting a credit card that I myself have not solicited. I do not appreciate the time on my cell minutes or the distraction of answering such calls.

This number is also related to 323-214-3647 (los Angeles), as both numbers started calling my phone recently, not leaving a message, and as early as 6:45 AM this morning!  I did read the comments above and am concerned by calling the "do not call lists" and the "freedom ring communications, LLC," after providing them with your information, the amount of calls will only increase over time.  I say this because my number was originally put on the federal government's "do not call list" and has had countless issues thereafter.  I am concerned these lists, for whatever reason, are being accessed by these [***], and used to annoy people, as well, to make fraudulent calls somehow- as I have had to fight with the phone company for calls billed to my number(mostly out of the country) that I did not make.  The calls are made either once or in a series, one after the other within a short time frame, for less then a minute- no more then three minutes- and then never called again!  So now what?

Wow!  Amazing!  I just called Freedom Ring Communications, LLC.   {800-639-9896}   who can also be visited at http://www.bayring.com and reported this number and the woman who answered took my info and said she would send them an email and the calls would stop in 23 - 48 hours.  We'll see.

They call everyday several times a day on both company lines.  I pick up but do not say a word and after about a minute the call disconnects.

I have received about 4 - 6 calls a day since the beginning of Sept. from these people on a daily bases. When I do answer it say's hold the line as we are extremely busy and I hold forever waiting for some one to come on the line.  I want the calls to stop!

This company calls every other day since Aug 26th 2008. I continue to ask them to stop calling. They naturally appear to oblige but low and behold they call again. It's well over 30 days since my first request and they still call. I did a little research and this is what I got.

The rep I got when I called them back was "John". What a surprise. I asked him to email, mail or fax to me their Do Not Call Policy. He refused saying that he could read it to me but not anything else. He stated he had every right to call my business number since it was a "business to business" phone call. This is where he was wrong. He also stated they do not use the do not call list since that's for consumers and not business calls. Well, I contacted the Federal Trade Commission and Mr. John is incorrect. The Do Not Call List is for numbers, period. It doesn't matter if it's a business number or a private number. If it's on there they aren't supposed to call. AND, by law they are supposed to provide you with a copy of their do not call policy if you ask. There are only 4 exemptions to abide by the do not call law and this company doesn't fall into any of them although they would like you to think that they are.

Each violation the FTC finds can get them fined $11,000 per incident. So, I filed a complaint with the FTC and they advised me to contact my local Consumer Protection Agency too. That's exactly what I did. That rep informed me that this company is trying to get you an $8000 line of credit i.e. credit card and you have only a certain period of time to use it. You can ONLY use it with two vendors which happen to be controlled by them. If that's not a scam then I don't know what is.

If the calls persist the local agency will take action and I will file a lawsuit as well.

Another junk call. I run a local business and publish my cell number in advertising, but don't answer out-of-area calls. These jerks didn't leave a message.

These people are slick. Got taken off their list from 408-834-8059.  They started calling again about a month and a half later from 603-214-3647. So they take you off their list then change number, what do you know your on the new list
