I get this guy calling me EVERY DAY, and every day I tell him to, well, you know. And he always calls back. How can we get rid of this guy?

4 no cool calls to my cell

Called by these people about five times in the last three days. I answered today out of sheer curiosity and they stated they were a 'Home Security Group' allowing you to trial their system I'm exchange for putting a sign up in your front yard for presumed advertising. I said 'no' or 'no, I'm not interested' about five times until he finally got the message. I wouldn't trust cold callers like this for a second and I shouldn't have answered the phone.

no message just continuous calls every few hours.

6 calls from these JA's in 2 days.  On my company cell too!

They say they're offering a "free" home security system for the access to post their sign in your yard. Huh. That's obvious BS. But if you're lucky enough to be home and can monitor the call over your answering machine, guess what?, no message - then a dial tone - then the phone rings out like YOU ARE MAKING A CALL! It occurred to me they're using my line to dial calls billed to me though my phone bill. Is this possible? They have call about 4 or 5 times including the one time I picked up the phone to talk to someone.

Them:  "Hi This is Tom with ________ Protection.  How are you doing today???"
Me:  "I would be great if you stopped calling me.  I guess you don't remember calling me everyday this week".
Them: "I'm so sorry I will remove your name from the database"

These people have called yesterday at 1:51pm, Tuesday at 9:05am and 11:07am, Monday at 3:09 and 5:59pm.  The next time they call I am getting the company info and going off.  I know their company can be fined for calling numbers on the Do Not Call list.

no i doubt it.  the calls are probably coming in like that because they use a dialer to call people.

Let's just start repeating everything he says. lol

I've gotten 3 calls in the past 2 hours from these a$$holes!

You can add 253-246-8525 to that list of annoying "Tom at Home Protection" scams.
If you are on the "do not call" registry please report those numbers at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2 
and even if you are NOT on the list you may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry).

I'm getting the same calls, twice every day. Typically, they call after 5pm. The phone number they call from is 503-457-1274   I've asked them to remove me from their call list but they don't. So, I entered their phone n umber into my phone, now I ignore their calls.

I had a missed call from this number but when I tried to call back to see who it was I got a recording that the number was not in service. That alone bothers me and makes me glad I missed the call in the first place. Who does that sort of thing?

I have called and reported to the FCC and the FTC.  There's nothing they can do.  They said it's probably not even a business more of a scam so unless Iknow their company name and address, there's nothing I can do but ignore their calls or have fun with them.  I am launching my own investigation on the matter and may go to my local police department. Today Tom called (on memorial day) and said his name was Mark. Tom you call me 4 times a week, I know your voice don't pretend to be Mark now.  I have gotten calls from OR and WA from this company. I have blocked many of them on my cell but can only block 5 numbers at a time.  I say we find Tom!

If you pick up your phone and get the dial tone, press star 60 and follow instructions, and you can block any unwanted numbers.

I'm trying a new tack with them when I'm not busy and they call - I push "1" to roll over to a live tele marketer, give them only my first name, and then ask questions and talk with my phone on speaker until they catch wise and hang up. I often get 15+ minutes of their people's time. Sooner or later they'll get as tired of me wasting their time as I do their calling. If enough people start doing that to them they'll be forced to change their ways ..... probably first by asking more information gathering questions to limit their wasted time, but we'll see. At worst for me it changes the frustration of not being able to get rid of them to fun with picking on them

I have call block, but looking at these notes here I'd say it was the same security company. I'm on the Do Not Call list, so this is bogus.
