I keep getting a call from this number almost daily. No one ever says anything...I hang up...Does anyone know who it is?

This # has appeared on my answering machine a couple of times, I have a private #,also I am on the donot call list.

Someone from this number called my cell phone twice this week but did not leave a message either time. I have been on the Do Not Call registry for years. I have reported this number to the FTC.

On the do not call list.  Still get calls from this number.  I see that this is happening daily to a whole lot of people.  What can be done?  Why do we have a do not call list if it just continues after complaints???

This is a scam.  They are trying to get me to let them advertise in my yard and in return they will give me a free home security system.  This is someone trying to get details from you...if you have a security system, what time of day are you usually home from work, what is your address, etc.  When I asked how they got my number they hung up on me.

Two calls.  First one I missed and got no message.  Second I answered with nobody there.  Read one post that said their house had been randomly selected but that's not possible.  I have a work phone not attached to my home address.  Plus, I live in Louisiana but have a Texas phone number.  Total BS.

This number directed me to VMS Alarms, if you go to their web site, vmsalarms.com, you can file a complaint with them through the Better Business Bureau link on their web site.  VMS states that they are not in violation of the Do Not Call list because they used a third part to make the calls.

I have already filed a complaint with the FCC for calling my Cell phone that's listed on the National Do not Call list.  First of all, I'd never buy an alarm system from someone who approaches me either via the phone or via showing up at my door.  Why would I buy an alarm system from someone I haven't vetted and who I cannot verify is a legitimate business?

That's a bunch of nonsense, we are a third party telecom vendor and we are legally responsible for making sure that no Do Not Call list numbers are called by our clients without an opt-in waiver that the client provides.

I did an internet search on 603-214-3672. The company is VMS Alarms, located somewhere in New Hampshire. Their toll-free no. is: 1-866-493-1253.
There offer IS too good to be true!

i received the same thing (had also missed several calls with no voicemail earlier).

Called my cell phone today ... Did not answer... Did not leave a message.... UGH!!!!!!!

I called number after it showed on my id caller several times. It showed on id caller as "Home Security GP". I reached an automated voice that said
"thank you for calling back. If you do not want to receive future calls about our product or services please press 1 (one)".
So I pressed one.
However, I am guessing that if you have a tele number that is automatically blocked from others knowing it is you calling, your number will not show up on thier system. Therefore you will not be able to be removed unless you unblock before you call 603-214-3672

Came back to my desk at work and found a missed call from this number on my cell. No voicemail, nothing. Glad I wasn't here to answer it!

Been getting calls on my cell for the past 3 days. I have not picked up

I have gotten 3 calls today from this number.  They leave no message and when I answer no one is there.  This practice has become more prevalent from various numbers the last 4 to 6 weeks.  I am not sure what they have to gain by calling. Even if they left a message,I would hope that by now people know enough not to fall for scams.

Yup, just got a call today .. caller id said "SECURITY".
And yes I'm on the do not call list.. doesn't seem to help.

Same as most of above, but my message was "Calling about your upside down mortgage".  Don't have one.   Do Not Call is a waste of time.  The govt doesn't give a hoot about it.  Put the number on my "blocked" list.  Have to renew it every 3 months...a pain, but better than the calls.

They seem to hang up if you answer the phone with, "RiteAid, Gel Section!"
