    Rec'd a call from 6035812724

We rec'd a call from 6035812724.  I couldn't find the number, so I search for just "603-581" thinking the last four digits were an extension.  We entered a drawing for a car at Tysons Corner Mall in Virginia.  We got a call saying we won the "travel package" last night.  Four free airline tickets, we have to use them in two years.  We have to go down to the Wyndham in Alexandria, VA Friday night to sit through the schpeel and get the tickets.  Also offered a gift card for dinner.  My fiance is convinced but I think it's a scam.  I don't really want to go...seems slimey to me.

I got a call today from a woman telling me that I won their 1st prize package of airline tickets and a diners card. I told her I was busy and could she call back later. She said yes. I wanted to check it out first. Now I just have to figure out how to block the number.

funny its not 2011 and i too got a call after filling out a form to win a GC to a restaurant like Outback or Applebees at a GunShow/Outdoor Show in fredericksburg, va
I was told the same things... that i won 4 airline tickets that i can use in 2 years (2 tickets at a time) and can transfer to other friends if i wanted as well as a $50 gift card for dinner.

The company is not really a scam out right... but yes they are deceiving you.
I logged into the site they told me to go to confirm with the numbers they gave me...
printed out the letter and looked through the brochure.

Pretty much it comes down to.. yes your airline tickets are free BUT... and this is the BIG BUT... you MUST use their travel agent AND stay at certain hotels a certain amount of time (at YOUR EXPENSE) depending on where you decided to go.  Now if you're going on vacation and have extra money that's great go for it.  But otherwise... its not worth it because these locations are resorts not just some random hotel off the road... meaning its going to be pricey.

Other option is to use the tickets as discount for hotels ... again... not all hotels and it really is just a discount of maybe $50... which me and my husband decided we would do with the tickets because then at least we wouldnt have to pay extra except... again its only certain hotels... that charge steeply.

as for the tour they offered... it was also located in the Wyndham in Alexandria, VA.

and as for the package i won... the girl claimed that i won the biggest package they gave out... LOL i guess she forgot to mention... its the only type so it automatically makes it the biggest package.

The other number associated are: 603-581-2450 <--- called when i didn't go  and 603-581-2452 <--- called to remind me to go the coming appointment date

InnSeasons may be a legitimate company but the phone room isn't. They pay "bonuses" for people that show up at your resort but you never get all your bonuses. They claim "most" didn't show up. If you call some of them back you'll find out they did show and tour and get their vacation package so they were a good tour but you'll never know or get paid on them.

I have received calls from this number, a number in VA, and a number in PA since January of this year. We signed up for a car sweepstakes in the local mall and they keep calling us about a time share vacation package with Wyndam. I have looked it up every time there's a new number- same scams other people have reported. I refuse the answer the calls and I will not call them back- their message is always the same. And if I don't call them back, i will "lose my prize"- please, let me lose it!

We attended one of these from Wyndham Resorts before.  They offered us 2 free plane tickets and $100 gift card for a restaurant of our choice.  Yes, this is a high-pressure sales pitch.  Yes, it’s annoying and a pain in the ass.  You sit through the entire presentation (which took about 3 hours)… you finally get your “voucher” which is through another company.

The steps to get your free plane tickets (as I remember it):
    1) mail them your form (just to let them know you’re interested
    2) wait for them to reply
    3) let them know the exact dates and locations you’d like to travel to. The dates must be 6 months in advance, and you must stay for more than 4 days.
    4) mail your dates and information to them (no, of course this can’t be done by phone)
    5)  Pay the approx $70 worth of fees for them to process your tickets.

Oh, and you have to contact them and plan this all within a few weeks of attending the sales pitch.

This was just what I remember from the description on the “voucher”.

The $100 gift card was for restaurant.com and can NOT be combined with restaurant.com’s deals.  If you’re familiar with restaurant.com, most of the gift certs you get have a minimum purchase at the restaurant. (usually about twice what the gift cert is for. So a $20 gift cert requires a $40 purchase)… and on top of that, you can BUY the gift certificates for pennies online.

Bottom line, you not only will have to pay for part of your meal anyway, the “gift certificate” can be purchased for only a few dollars anyway.

I can’t speak for the other “prizes” that they offer, but I can only imagine they are as worthless as the two they offered me.

Just got the call and was excited to have won 4 free airline tickets until I had to listen to the exhausting rep tell me all the things I had to do, and drive 4 hours away, to claim my tickets :( That's not a prize if you ask me, it's a scam.
    The number was 603-366-2703

i got a call from 60-581-2730.  i was told i had won 4 airline tickets plus a resturant card.  i was already selected as a winner and these prizes were guaranteed.  however, when i stated that i was currently separated from my spouse, i was denied the opportunity to obtain my guaranteed prized.  i don't understand what the marital status has to do with winning prizes.  if i am not obligated to purchase a timeshare.

They have been calling us for quite awhile, several times a day.  Today they finally left a message, a very vague message.  So, I called back.  4 free planes tickets to Europe, Carribean, Hawaii, Vegas, and Californa.  I asked what the catch was.  Well, you have to go and pick the tickets at the one place.  the wilderness in Wi Dells.  Well, I am not going to drive 2+ hours to get those.  You have to listen to a timeshare.  I was almost intrigured, but they say you have to call 45 days in advance when you want to travel.  We are going to the Bahamas in 42 days, so we are passing on the deal.  Hopefully, they won't call anymore.

Sales rep called us up today said we won 4 tickets to anywhere in the world plus $100 dining card if we went to pick up the tickets from somewhere in PA within a few days. When I asked about having to stay a minimum # of nights at one of the their resorts, he said that it was true. The minimum requirement for staying "anywhere in the world" varies from 4-7 days. There is no free lunch ladies and gentlemen. None. Don't fall for it.

Me too. I entered in a sweepstakes for a car in a mall in NJ. The NH # called last week but didnt leave a msg. He just called now and didn't say I won the car but that I should call and he would go over all the details of the gift I won. AND he sounded very drunk. I wish I could post it. He was slurring his words.

I worked for this company for some time and, although they are not authorized to explicitly lie to prospects, the entire pitch (inducement to buy timeshare) it worded carefully to convey the sense of actually profiting when, in fact, this is probably going to cost you a lot of money. The 'gifts' are not free, and you certainly haven't 'won' anything. You receive 'vouchers' for free travel but are required to purchase their accommodations which cost easily 2 or 3 times what you would pay if you spent 15 minutes shopping on Expedia/Priceline/Whathaveyou (and you only get 2 at a time, so you will have to pony up for your kids). They claim that it is more than made up by the fact that the travel is free, but the limitations are extraordinary: you will be flying red-eye and only to or from a limited number of cities and THEY will schedule you, no changes, for the days and times they decide (based on your input). You will not be leaving on the Monday your vacation starts, you may likely be leaving on Wednesday; and you will not be getting back on Saturday, more likely next Tuesday or Thursday, so your employer better be flexible with allowing you to change your vacation schedule, because you have to accommodate THEM, not the other way around. Incidentally, there are a vast number of packages available online which also include free travel, but the accommodations are a fraction of the price. Same for the 'free' weekend; you must pay the tax and any other expenses.

In short, your 'free' vacation (4 vouchers) will likely cost you anywhere from $2,000 to $6,000 dollars to use; and your 'free' weekend (sales tax + hotel tax x 3) will likely run you upwards of $100. None of that includes (at $3.50/gal) the gasoline to travel easily 100 miles to sit for the pitch (required) for up to 3 hours. So, calculate your time (your spouse MUST come) @, say, $10/hr., that's $60 for your time, plus 1-200 miles in driving (around a 1/2 tank, $20-$30), plus food, another $20. It cost you $100 to claim your right to spend another $100 to $6,000 to go on a trip you were lead to believe was 'free.'

The really crying shame is not the retirees and the like, who probably break even on trips they might want to go on anyway (and they're just looking for things to do), but the poor folks who can barely make ends meet and think they have really hit it only to be put in the situation to be severely burdened financially. That is just plain chicanery. By the way, if you are deaf, forget it. They will never let you collect anything because you can't reasonably be expected to fall for the sales pitch (you'd have to have it carefully provided for you in text and that would defeat the purpose of catching you on an emotional high; this business does NOT want people to THINK about what they're doing, just get excited and sign).

They are hardly the only business doing things like this; it's pretty common throughout business these days.

Rubbish. They are calling because they are being pressure by people like you to shill in a few customers to hit the quota for the day or they don't get paid! They will be stuck with less money than what they would earn at McDonald's unless they can snare a few commissions from people who are lead to believe they are making out on this when, in fact, it is going to not only cost them a considerable amount of money, but more than if they just went on line and shopped for it themselves. Don't even attempt to refute that; if you could you would put that in writing, but you won't because you would go to jail. The truth is that the vast number of people who ever attend the pitch NEVER even redeem their 'vouchers,' because it is only when they start making arrangements that they discover what they've gotten themselves into: a money pit. The same goes for timeshare holders. The industry BANKS on the reality that (like Planet Fitness, and the like) holders will generally only use a fraction of their privileges and then just drop out completely.

As to DNC, people have no idea that the 'entry' is going to void their DNC listing, but that does not justify their being called 20 times! One 'rep' make stop calling them, but you still have 30 days before you are in violation, so the entry is just going to go to another rep who will hassle them too.

You're a LIAR. No one you call was "selected" for anything, in the sense that word conveys. They were selected by your manager for you to call from the other 100s that will be called that night; selected for YOU pitch. They were NOT, in any way, a UNIQUE selection. Their only distinction was that they filled out the form. Anything beyond that is an attempt to DECEIVE, which is at the heart of this industry's practices.
