Person calls frequently for my boss. Won't leave a name, won't leave a message.

Nuisance call. Caller ask who the earner is (when being asked to clarify, he rephrased to "who is the CEO") and I told him to check the company website..

Nuisance call. Caller asked to speak to Business owner, but when being asked for the purpose of his call, he hesitantly answered: "UBC, we are doing research and wants to speak to the owner". Gave caller general enquiry email.

called asking for regional manager / VP but just said it was about the "dealings our company does in the area" and wouldn't give up anything else

He asked to speak with the business owner. When asked what about he said he was from UBC about renewing the relationship with our company. When push for his information, he said his name was Edward Pensky (Fake Name) and wanted to know the name of the owner. If he knew the company website he will have known what the owners name was.

A lady left a cryptic message on my answering machine saying she was from UBC and to phone back to this number (a different number than what came up). Looks suspicious.

I get the same calls for my boss. Calls at least once a week, but some times two or three times a week. The first time he called, he claimed to work for a client that we have done work for in the past, however, he was calling to ask for the name of the company owner. He was very unprofessional the first time he called; without saying "hello," his first words to me were "what is the name of the CEO?" I responded, "Excuse me? To whom am I speaking?" He laughed and said sorry, that his name was Joe Ferrara and that the worked for ------. "Your company has done work for us in the past. I just need the name of the CEO." When I asked what he needed it for -especially because he should have this informational already if he works for the company he claims to- he paused awkwardly and told me that it was for "correspondence and stuff." I told him that he could email me, and I'd pass on the information to my CEO. I never received an email. Following that call, he has called at least once a week. He always asks for my CEO by name (he apparently picked it up somewhere), never providing his own. When I tell him that the CEO is unavailable and ask if I can take a message, he says he'll just try back another time.

Multiple calls a week.  Says his name is Chris but wont leave a message for the owner and gets belligerent when pressed.  One got through to the owner and said he was calling from UBC.  This is a huge hassle and I decided to just start leaving MULTIPLE messages on their  answering machine until our number is removed for the call list.  Wish me luck.

I also get once a week calls from "Chris" demanding to speak to the wonder, but I deny and he gets very upset lol. He keeps trying from an anonymous number now but I recognize his voice.

Received same call today, no preamble, he wanted to know the owners first name.  Fella said his name was Anthony Joseph and he was from UVic....mmmhmmm sure.  Wouldn't leave a message and promised to try again later.  oh goodie

This guy keeps calling us saying he wants to talk to us about UBC. Name he is using now is Nick.

This guy keeps calling stating his name is "Donald Alexander" asking to speak to our President (and does state his first name).  When I ask him what company he is calling from he refuses to provide a name.  He states that he is calling regarding a project with the Port of Vancouver...although when I asked him if he works for them he said no.  I asked him if was the project manager he said "somewhat".  I asked him to provide me with more details so that I could in turn pass along to my boss, and he refuses.  He's phoned me at least 6-8 times.  I just phoned his number back (604-210-3637) and I get an answering machine with a woman's voice.
