Keeps calling at various intervals all day

This number (and 1 888 408 4728) may belong to a company called CBV Collection Services which is hired by the government of British Columbia (among other clients) to collect a presumed debt. Both numbers called me on the same day and CBV has been associated with the 1 888 number. CBV has also sent letters in regard to MSP Premiums..

This number, 604-296-3230, calls multiple times daily - it is blocked now but calls from this number still go through to my voicemail. It's super annoying to have to clear this multiple times a day and for what? NO IDEA! They never leave a message, it is just a hang up after it goes to the recording. When this number did get through, it was a woman who was very rude to me and she never made it clear who, what or why she was calling. I repeatedly requested she send me in writing whatever the issue is. I have never received a letter. I can only conclude this is a scam or fraud caller.

I just read MJ's post above. I have looked into my MSP of BC account, I am totally up to date and owe nothing. So why are they calling me? Makes no sense. This must be a scam or fraud. Gov in Canada does not use telephone collections ever. That is their long standing hard and fast rule in order to save people from fraud. No one should ever pay a debt to someone calling you.

Government Services of BC has sent letters threatening to turn a presumed debt over to a collection agency. CBV has sent me a letter to that effect. One may therefore presume that the government of BC is outsourcing debt collection to avoid accountability for unfair practices.

Never anybody on the line, they keep hanging up.

Calls every couple of days and does not leave a message. When called back, no answer.

This is CBV collections, they are the collections agency that the Canada revenue agency uses for medical and other billing. If they are calling you and have no reason to, call them back and they will stop.

Government of Canada doesn’t, but if you owe enough they sell the account to a collections agency. Likely they’re misinformed on who they’re calling

This number has called me up to 3 times a day for the past 2 weeks and it's really annoying :(
The one time I picked up it was silence and then they hung up.

do not call me again on my phone

A collection agency they never leave a message and call anywhere from 6am to 11pm everynight.  And if I block the number they call back same times with a different number
