A old Irish Lady on the phone called wanted to talked to my father about helping the blind, and deaf people for Christmas, and she wanted my card information info to get a package in the mail to help a child Christmas dreams come true. I pretended to do my father voice on the phone to stall her so she will stop calling, and bugging people with this Christmas for children scam. I told her I  am going to Australia for the holidays to see my nephew kids as a Great-Uncle to them, she stilled talked to me still so I said to her on the phone. My Smoked Ham dinner is burning, and I hung up on her.

Thanksgiving is coming fast so please do not get scam on the long weekend.

Called to help support for teaching about wildlife and conservation to lower mainland schools and wanted money. Figured in was a scam.  Told her to email me the info and instead she wanted to direct me to their website. Told her no, to email me and I'd look at it later. She then said that they don't do email communication.  Huh?!!  Ended that conversation, she knew I figured it was a scam.  Reminds me of the scam that asks you to support local police/firemen/children - all scams.

Yea help the kids go to summer camp scam with even different levels of commitment.Yes very slick
