    one way to beat spam callers is to just NEVER do any biz with anyone who calls you. Even charity. some people pay just to find out what time of day we answer the phone.
    this number, when I called back, says he is with shaw and offering promotional services. I told him I do not do biz with people who call me and please stop. He said he would but he is not. Plain harrasment. I block them when & if they leave a message. *86 works on my phone.

    Call from this number, which belongs to EtechTelecom.ca at 13:19 Pacific today. They ended the call before saying anything to me. Seems to be a partner to Shaw Business services.
    Or, it could have been a spoofed number.
