Aw [***] a!!! I'm such a stupid person, I had a feeling this was a scam.... ugh.

I gave them my card # (lesson learned I guess), HOWEVER, I called the number back and got the full mail box message - luckily the lady (Tisha - ext. #: 9980) I had just spoken to called me back because she had forgotten to verify something with the magazines (bah!). So I told her I wasn't interested in ANY of their services. Luckily, the magazines and the automotive services WILL NOT be charged unless I choose to get into the "Buyers Club", which I am not, and that thing will last for 21 days, so that'll be out of the way I guess. As for the $1000 shopping spree (I'm SO SO stupid for even thinking it might be legit!! Should've trusted my gut!), the only thing that they charge you for that is like an $8.93 shipping (or something) fee that they only bill AFTER you've used the $1000. And I have 6 months to spend the money, which I'm obviously not doing, so luckily THAT will be out of the way...

The lady gave me a customer service number: 1-866-537-4728 I'll probably call and ask to be put on their DNC list.

Man! I'm so pissed!! Luckily nothing's going to be charged, yet. I'm definitely going to be monitoring my account for a while to see if anything changes.

Called me twice on sept.7,10,and once on sept.8,10. doesn,t leave a message,and when I tried to call back,call won,t go through.

Getting calls from this number, people in background talking no one answers my hello

I got a call on my Verizon phone and I amk on the no-call list. I was driving and the man said that he was from a church and has a check for 1000.00 for electronics. I hung up on him.

This number calls me several times a day. They have tried several different ways of getting my information. They will say we can lower your interest rate on your card, they tried to to tell me they were from Wells Fargo! I do not have anything with Wells Fargo. When I asked for the credit card number they gave me the last 4 digits and of course I do not have a card with those digits. Then they try and get your social security number by asking please verify the last 4 digits of your social sec#.  I refused and said you tell me the last 4 digits you have for a social security number and I will decide to let you know whether or not I am that person. Of course the last 4 digits of the social were not mine. Then when I asked the name of the person, I advised them I was not that person. But they would not take that, and then they asked do you live at such and such address, and I adv no I do not and then they asked well what is your address and I adviised them none of your business. They call my office every day, and the person they are looking for does not work at my company, nor come up on the company directory for anyone. I think this is definitely a scam. They are trying to get to someone who will give them personal information. This is a fraud situation, and they are probably crooks who try to get people's idenity. I also ran the address that the guy had given me for the person he was trying to reach and it was a legitimate home address. So then I got worried and ran my credit report to make sure there was nothing fishy on it, and nothing was there, thank goodness. But this is really an aggressive approach by these scam artists to do this.

I keep getting this number calling my cell and when I pick up they hang up.  I called back and got the message box is full.  this is annoying.  I was in the hospital when it started.

yessss!!! Everything that you said happened to me too.They called my number before but I didnt answer. I called back and got the full mail box.Then I just got a call about 15 minutes ago and he said everything that you stated: the 3 magazines, the survey I did (which I don't even remember), etc. Then I dropped my phone and my battery fell out so I didn't get to finish the conversation. But it's great that you said the thing about them asking for your credit card #. He hadn't asked for mine yet, but I knew that it had to be coming soon. Thanx. I'll make sure to avoid this number.

Got this call on cell phone. She told me I had won a $1,000 shopping spree and that they wanted to send me 3 magazines. I told them at that moment I wasn't interested. She repeated what I said and I said NO. She hung up. But they keep calling so I blocked their number and sent them a text saying for them to, "Stop harassing me at this number. this is a legal notice." They haven't called back since.

Same here 9/30/10. If it keeps up I will report it to the FCC, at least they can fine them.

Just got the 2nd call from this number today.  said his name was Michael from EMS?...  Something like that.  I told him I was sleeping and to stop calling me because I do not know who he is!

Got a call from them again, I am on the do not call list, report them to the donotcall.gov if you are on the do not call list.

Was wondering if this ever got resolved for you? This just happened to my son only they charged other charges not just the 8.93. Any info would be helpful.  Thanks

This number keeps on calling me while I am at work and is saying absolutely nothing, when I call back there is absolutely no way to get a hold of anybody. I would just like to know how I can call them and get on the do not call list. If there is any way you can have the company that the number is coming from shut down or blown up, that would be very helpful.

Got a call saying i won a 100 gift card good for various places, this is definitely a scam, they had an old address of mine and was asking for a new one, i didn't give it and just hung up, tried calling back and no luck. DO NOT TRUST THEM YOU DID NOT WIN ANYTHING!

I dont answer numbers I dont recognize.  I answered this one because they called about 4 times in 2 days to tell them not to call.  I didnt even get to as soon as I say hello they hang up....I am blocking this number with my telephone company.

got a call from this number a few seconds ago - when i answered it hung up on me. I went to call it back and it gave a busy signal. I tried several times to find out WHO it was? I did find out by googling the area code that it came from South Dakota....this is a spam call I am sure as I do not know anyone with that number and they did not give the time of day to answer. So, to me, a spam call is a robotic dialer calling numbers with no real person on the other end.

it seems as though they call only cell numbers as they did mine.I hope its not the cell company giving out our numbers for a profit.That would be very rud.

Got this number (605-269-7572) in a random email,  luckily they dont have my phone number so I never received any calls but here's the email, (it came with an attached picture of a chick taking a selfy with only a bra looking tank top on)
