Just called:voice mailed my cell # - left case # & number (702/534-6202) to call Back...I’m not involved in anything...

Left a message on home phone referencing a case number and said I must call plaintiff back or relinquish all rights. I’m not involved in any action.
This area code and prefix is assigned to landlines located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Same thing happened to me

Left me a message saying I'm being investigated for several maters and that it's my responsibility to call my plaintiff and give them a case number. My wife got the same message on he same day only she's freaking out. I called them back and told them what their responsibility would be.  [***]. They know they won't be prosecuted so we're all at their mercy.

They called my family member stating I was involved in something and being investigated requarding legal matters. Im not involved in anything.

Same thing happened to me they called family members saying I was being investigated regarding legal matters. This is a fraud.

They called and said I owed money for some sort of pay day loan from back in 2009.  She said she was with a collection agency and this would go on my credit.  I asked her if she was with a company that buys up bad debt (or alleged bad debt) but she would not respond to that.  I told her to send me the info in the mail that she had at which point she said she was going to mark my file as "refusal to pay" and that I should get an attorney.  She then hung up on me.  Geez!  What a crock!

Same but they referenced my husband's first name with my last so it's not legit!!!

I just received a robot call from this number requesting a relative to call them regarding a legal matter

IGNORE - a tactic to embarrass your friend.  The caller is a bottom feeding debt collector hoping to find a sucker.

Was called left case #threatened with jail also called contacts of mine from former phone # how to stop this?

Got the same BS voice mail as everyone else on here, funny part is I have had the number for about 8 years but the perain they asked for was a guy I dated 16 years ago ! Don't even have a clue how they would link my number to him at all but yea.... total scam BS

Called 11/27/17 stating I had several matters being investigated and that he was verifying my address and employer that day I have to reference my order number. I didn't know what it was so I called back. He kept me on hold for six minutes after asking if I was someone else. I hung up and called back 10 times to keep getting the voicemail.

Same thing happened to me. They started calling a family member stating i was in trouble. I called them back and they said i was being sued for a web loan i never took out. Couldn't give me any specific information and only wanted money. Its a Scam!

They called my Mother and left info that I was going to be "served" and it was a "legal matter" now my Mother is upset thinking I was involved in something shady. This is a pitiful scam and in reading the comments I wonder how this can be stopped..FCC complaint?

They called and said I had several pending matters. Not that I know of, they constantly call my cell phone and my house phone and some people that I know. I wish they would just stop calling.

Called at 1:58PM.  Pretty much the same story everyone else is giving.  I didn't recognize the number and don't know anyone in Sioux Falls, SD, so I let it go into voice mail.  Male caller was looking for my ex-wifes (split about 13 years ago!) daughter.  Male caller did not give his name or company name, but says his office received an official notice. Just a bunch of b***sh*t.  Closet thing the "Call Type" choice is "scam suspicion," however in this case there is no suspicion ~ this pure scam.

Got a voicemail threatening me about a case he has in his office, multiple charges against me and to call back with my info. Yeah right.....

Same garbage as everyone else above. The guy called for my husband. Voicemail said to consider this an "official notification" and that if he doesn't comply, a complaint will be filed with our local county. Also that they'd be contacting his employer. I called back and was told the company name is Allocation Adjustment Services. A guy named Winston said that it's a civil complaint to be processed on Monday.
