Called during the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl.  Here's the entire message:

"Hi, this is Eric with the data service provider for Google, Yahoo, and Bing.  We actually have some openings for your market for first page placement on all of the top three search engines. So what you need to do is give us a call at 888-305-0415.  Again 888-305-0415.  Thanks a lot.  Bye bye."  

If you are a small business, PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THIS!  Those spots don't become "available" and nobody can guarantee them...and these guys are certainly not going to help you in any way.  They have no idea what my business is and what keywords my customers are using to search for.

they called at 11:58 PM; message was Eric from Google placement.

The ID was Local Web.  I am pretty sure the 608 area code is Wisconsin but who knows for sure.

This number called me on my cell but never replied when I answered. I'm a very private person and I hate the idea of anyone I don't really know or a stranger calling my number. What's is he trying to do? IIt's seem like this number had done this kinds of calls several time with other people.

R U People STUPID.........if you dont know the number dont pick up.........if u get curious thats when they get u..........remeber curiousity killed the cat...........i guess here in nj ny we know better.......fck them.......people always getting scamed......they have been calling our business.....

First I must comment about the poster named "wet lover". I guess in "nj ny" you also don't know how to create a post that makes any sense. You don't get scammed because you answer the phone, you get scammed because you believe the moron on the other end.

Second of all, this number called my work it was an automated message saying they could put some sign in my yard. It also rambled off some stats on FBI reporting break ins. I pressed ( to have the number removed from the list and if they call back again I will be sure to talk to a live person and waste just about as much time as I can. That's how you handle telemarketers and scammers wet boy.

Have received several calls from this number and would like it to stop.

Hung up as soon as female robot voice started... only heard "The FBI reports..."

said they were selling alarm systems, sick of these phone calls, how do you get these people from calling you. they call about 4 times a day. recording come on, don't get to talk with any one

30 calls from 608-237-3168 - when you actually get a message and not dead air, it refers you to 888-234-5992 - Travis on the other end of the phone was apologetic but the amount of calls from LOCAL WEB is ridiculous.

These people do not give up. Block one of their numbers they use another one. Same old BS saying that my business is not visible on the Internet. Thats a lie right from the start. I did answer one of these calls once and the guy told me he could not find my company on the internet. I asked him if he actually knew how to use the internet? He was insulted but said yes. I asked him what type of business he was looking for? I got a "Uh Uh' out of him. I asked him if he knew what my company is and I got  a "no". So how the hell do you know I am ot visible on the web? He replied with well we can make you #1. I asked him number 1 in what category and keywords. He hung up. Lame scammers. Never pay anyone who knows nothing to do anything they say they will do. qualify the scammer then show them exatluy how stupid they really are.

By the way these people do not work for GOOGLE. Another lie. they are people who wish to get control of your website and add code into it. I would not trust anyone who I do not know with going into my server. Period. who knows what they will load up your server with? BEWARE!

Utterly ridiculous- if you're calling with a pre-recorded message to everyone, HOW can this company GUARANTEE a business be the FIRST people see when they Google you or do any web search related to your business.  I have a guarantee for you- ever see the movie Tommy Boy?  

BTW- I don't need to press anything to be removed from your list.  I just keep reporting calls to my HOME to the FTC, the FCC, and in Florida, the Department of Agriculture who handles violations of the DNC list in my state.

I was so piss with this guy, with the name Steve, i decide to follow the steps and contact him, at the end i ask him that i am really intersted on his product and ask if he can see my number in case we get disconnected, he say o sure, your number is xxx-xxxxxxx and i told him, please remove the number from your list, i dont want your fu@$@#$%@#$%^#@$%^&calls anymore son of b#$%^&%$#@#$&
