- MThis number called my work phone and did not leave a voicemail. I am very confused i work for a large company. how do they get my extension or name
- Caller: unknown
- JanesvilleI got this message yesterday 8/9/11. Didn't give the coompany name. Too bad there isn't a law on this type of calls.
- JJI just got a couple of calls from this number. The second one I answered because I was curious and after the first they didn't leave a voicemail. It was from someone saying they worked at Banker's Life and they wanted me to sell insurance for them. I was supposed to come in and meet the manager next week on Tuesday. Not sure what kind of scam that was supposed to be...
- Caller: Banker's Life
- myrtle husslefoothe texted me last night @ 10:39 pm cst, October 6th, 2011
he said,
"That is the funniest Craiglist post I have ever read".
What a Weirdo!
I have many different items for sale on craigslist, and have no idea which ad he found so funny.
Sounds like a dude with no life, after reading all these things.
I have gotten a few calls from a Mike Nofsinger over the years, but never really made the correlation.- Caller: Mike Nofsinger
- Call type: Prank
- Jill| 1 replyI got a similar call recently. Completly legit company. When he first called i was in a meeting and didn't know who it was, so I sent a text. It was a business cell and doesn't receive or respond to text messages. I think the person who posted before me got a text from a different number.
Anyway, it was a great interview with alot of information on the company. I'm trying to finish my masters degree for phsycology. So with my time constraints it's not the right fit, but I hope people actually check out the opportunity for themselves vs. taking the word of others on the internet.
Some of you people sound like you didn't even take the opportunity to get more information, but instead just get upset about a 30 second message.
By the way they didn't try to use my phone to make long distance calls or scam me out of money.
Check the bbb.org(they are A+ rated), Traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol PRI. How can a scam be listed on the NYSE?
My professor always told me, " Be careful where you receive your information and is that a source you could qoute in a college paper?"
I hope that helped your desicion: I wish I would have read that type of info on here vs. nonsense accusations that have no truth to back them up.
Have a great 2012,
-Jill - CyndiThis guy by the name of Michael Noffsinger (sp?) called and states he wanted to interview "after buisness hours" Huge alert right there!! He went on to state that he is from around my area. lol
hmmm AND couldnt give me an exact position that I would be applying for or interviewing for. He was sure he could use me tho. SCAM! I called back to cancel the interview due to researching this guy on internet. He called me back stating that my cancelation due to my researching him on the internet was "disturbing"- Caller: New York Stock Exchange
- bchmandiI got the same call, but he used an old married name that I have not legally had for nearly 5 years. SCAM!!
- SJ replies to JillWell Jill if this guy is legit, why don't you tell us what company he works for? Please don't say it's because of legal issues you can't give out the name. If you had an interview with him and said it was a great deal, then please share. Put something good on the internet about this instead of leading everyone on with the BS of a great opportunity. Sure you don't work for him?
- Joe replies to SissiIt's Michael Nofsinger w/Primerica. if you are in search of work or on the state job site or other job search site they may have received your info. You may find this link of interest.
http://www.secretentourage.com/entrepreneur/b ... se-opportunity/ - formeradvisorI got a call from this number with a garbled message similar to all of the rest of vm listed here. The caller left his name but no company but a time to call him back. I figured I should just do a reverse look up to know what I am getting myself into. I was a former financial advisor for seven years and it is against the rules to not state your company, so this Michael Nofsinger figures that since he is not soliciting you for business but for recruiting that he doesn't need to. This is stupid. BTW from being in the industry for so many years, insurance and financial companies will recruit you for your friends and family then toss you to the wolves. If you do want to become an advisor go with a company that has a great reputation and great name (if you think there is one). Otherwise Primerica is for the lower end of the spectrum, the bottom feeders as it were. It's commission only find your own leads, dog eat dog. It's not a scam but it might as well be. 90% of financial advisors don't make it after the first year. After that you either need rich friends or wealthy family ties to survive. You also start to lose your soul after a while. I was so glad when I got out of the business. Ignore this guy. It's not worth your time.
- Caller: Michael Nofsinger
- Vickie replies to JDSo how was this opportunity.
- VictoriaStill at it in 2015! Got a call from Michael today.
- BeloitGot a called on the 18th and one today. Been actively looking for a new job so was excited to receive a call. Looked him up and came across this sight where I found the company name Primerica, decided to google map it. The "company" is a parking lot in Rockford IL. Glad I didn't call back or go.
- Caller: Primerica
