Called 6 times in a row!! The 4th & 5th time we picked up, no answer and then disconnected. the 6th time some guy finally answered. I asked Have you been calling repeatedly? No he says, not him. I said caller ID says this number, he said. "Well caller ID doesn't lie now does it, but I didn't call"
I then said this number is on the DNC list both State and National, remove this number from your calling list, and do not call again!
His reply.. Well I'll just call back again. I stated that it would be considered harrasment then and I would sue.
He said.. You can't do that and laughed. About that time my husband grabbed the phone and lit into him and he hung up.

Nothing on the line when we answer. Happened numerous times already.

They have called my number anywhere from 5 to 11 times per day and I am going nuts trying to get someone on the line!  No one is there - no recording - NOTHING.  If you call back you either get a busy signal or a full mail box for Carla at ext 310 - thats where you go if you want an operator. grrrrrr

The caller ID comes up with either MGR-MCSB or Eastern Research.  All from the same batch of phone numbers and call center.

Getting repeated calls on my cell phone from this number.  No one is ever on the line.

610-543-0000 has called here several times asking for my husband. When I tell them that he is not here, they wait a bit and call again.

The number is for Eastern Research Services, and Todd Costello is the head of the operation.  He claims that they do not have to adhere to the DNC because they are a research company.

Perhaps if enough people hound him, they will get the idea and stop calling... his direct number is 640-453-0575  extension 2032.

Complained to donotcall

That number has called my house 20 times this past week. There is never anyone on the other end until tonight. They called at 9:30pm and I actually got to speak to a human. He said he needed my opinion about something. I informed him that my opinion of him calling at 9:30 was not very well received and he hung up.

Has called 3 times tonight so far.  Voice message left on one that sounded like a couple of teenagers talking to each other.

They keep calling and hanging up, if it's a research company, what are they researching? How many calls it takes for someone to get curious enough to call back?

The number is all that comes up, the location is unavailable.

I got a call from a male, asking to speak to the lady of the house. I then said to him their wasn't no females in this house and hung up the phone on him!

Scott Kleeb for senate uses this service for his push polls.  These guys were very demeaning of Mike Johanns

Filing a complaint in Florida DOES NO GOOD.  Just got an official letter back saying, no surprise, the company Eastern Research Services, Inc. refused to cooperate and our complaints are being closed as "Unsatisfactorily."  They enclosed a phamphlet "Court is Your Last Resort.  Thanks, State of Florida for not enforcing laws already in place.

Cant these [***] find an honest way to make a living without stealing time away from the public. NOBODY wants to answer these questions made by people who have NO sense of value of other peoples time. Kean Spencer & Todd Costello are the company officers. I wish I had their home phone numbers.  I am sure that about a hundred other telemarketer companys would be glad to call them and inerupt their day. About 6 to 7 times a day like they call me. RUDE [***]!!!

ALL phone centers that are conducting mass political surveys ask for a specific name on the screen. This is because we are calling voters only and are required to speak to the name on the screen. If you tell them that person is not home, well naturally, the center will try to call again another time to try and reach him.
Secondly, the DNC law will never apply to data research collection agencies. The reason is because they do POLITICAL data collection for candidates.If legislature outlaws telephone research, the candidates will not be able to get the information they want from the public about how they react to smear campaigns so they can make decisions in their campaign drivel.
Lastly, you get empty calls because an autodialer is always used. If not from one company, it will be from another company. If there are no call representatives with an open line, the call will disconnect.
No worries, thought Eastern Research is no longer in business. You'll get calls from others instead.

i used to work for them before they closed down, and i wouldnt mind giving out my number, and im looking for theirs as they shut off all work lines when they shut down the company from their bs, it is a real living, those 'survey says' is us, its called research and statistics, and i dont mind answering or being called.  if youre too busy to answer a phone, youre uneducated and must make pesos like the rest of america, i make little money and still have plenty of time for things.  :)
