I was called by a gentleman and was told to call this number to find out more information about the company...That was a little fishy right there. I did end up getting the name of the company finally..Primerica..basically you would be a traveling insurance salesperson.

I received a call from Chad @651-285-4053 he told me to call Tracy at 612-309-1496. He asked if I was keeping my options open. He spoke quickly and  poorly. The only thing I could realy make out was to call Tracy @ 612-309-1496. Thanks for the input from everyone. I almost called.

I received a call from them a couple of months ago.  After leaving a voicemail and playing phone tag with her, I got a call back from Tracy.  The voicemail was a group voicemail, which I thought was weird.
When I talked with her, I told her I didn't want sales and she said that she had an orientation on the upcoming Wednesday night.  I told her I couldn't attend because I had to work that evening, and she acted pretty put out and asked if I could get out of it.  I thought about it, and decided that I couldn't.  I then received another phone call from that number later that afternoon, she called me again, acting like she never contacted me, and pitching the same thing.
Anyone who can't remember that they called the same person twice in one day, especially with a name as unique as mine, isn't worth working for.
The reason I'm adding to the blog, is because I received another call from these people again today.

I got a call from 651-501-8651 today too. They also told me to call Tracey at 612-309-1496. I posted my resume on Monster.com over a year ago. They sound pretty desparate. Maybe someone should call them and tell them to google their own number!

More of the same here. Posted resume on monster.com and next day got a call from tracy.  She mentions keeping my options open and then mumbles the name of the company.

If it sounds shady, seems shady, it's SHADY.

Same deal for me.  Nick called and left a message with the 1496 number.  I called back and left a message.  Tracey then called.  It's clear that they have been doing some data mining from Monster.com.  That is the only place I have publicly posted a resume.  Tracey said the job would be in the financial sector.  I'm an engineer, so I asked her why they called me.  She said they were looking for folks with analytical skills.  I told her no thanks, and that was that.

    Different Scott then previous poster.
Agreed with all of the above - I had to listen to the message 4-times before I could glean enough informaiton to do some research.  Anyway skipping this one and moving on to better opportunities.

I also got the call from Tracy.  She mentioned that she seen the resume I'd posted on Monster 2 YEARS AGO!!!  She spoke about "expanding her business" (I think that's what she said anyway).  She sounds harmless but the cold calling makes me think that it's just a commission style job, probably not the best choice with the current ecomonic situation.

I received a message from Tracy Lisowe yesterday stating that I "probably don't remember her at all," obviously implying that I know her from somewhere. She said she is expanding her business in Woodbury and wanted to know if I am keeping my options open and if the money would be right. I, too, have my resume posted on Monster. I was suspicious because she didn't elaborate on detail or on the name of the company. Caller ID came up as Nick Lisowe, the same number she asked me to call her back (612) 309-1496. It seems kind of seedy.

Got a phone call from Tracy.  She was looking for a referral for positions in Ameriprise.  Very Shady Operation.  If you want to be a financial advisor, go work for a real company!

I was going to start a new post because I can't find this number anywhere, but I'll just add it to the discussion here instead.

I received a call from Primerica today from Patrick @ 651-472-1282. He said he'd seen my resume online. I wasn't able to talk at the moment he called, but he said he would call back...it wasn't until the end of the call that he said the name of the company, which I had to ask for. I was briefly excited, having never heard of the company...until a quick google search told me otherwise.

I too received a call from this MLM company called Primerica.  The caller is an uneducated white looking waman named Tracy Lisowe and her husband Nick Lisowe is an auto mechanic turned MLM "manager".  He referes to himself as a Vice President, apparently a high school level of education is all that is needed at Primerica to be a VP.  I agree with everyone's opinions on Tracy, she is ignorant white trash and has no class.

I called her back and she immediately identified herself and the brokerage agency opportunity as Primerica. Seemed pretty straightforward to me.

I am reading all these blogs and find it funny that you would spend your time writing this stuff. If I'm looking for work - I am happy when someone contacts me, even if it is in a different industry. Maybe that is the reason you are unemployed or looking for work and have your resume posted. Whatever you like to spend your time doing.
