Breathe E-Z Homes is not a scam, they sell one of the best vaccum and air cleaner in the market. They are one of the representive of FilterQueen in Canada. I used to work there for a month, the job is not easy but I made $ 3500.  It is pretty good for a summer job( for a month)
I agree that some of the salesman are pushy but when I used to work there, my managers always told me to not really push anyone to buy it.
The marketing system is kind of strange but thats the only choice they have,Theywant to show their products to you. and they will give you a prize for it, usually the prize is a rice cooker or garden hose. Also they have a draw for $1000 every month.
Theyare selling 100 of them every month incanada. and if you have allergy to dust or mold, it really gonna help you.

    Definitely lies.
My girlfriend was deceived and she got on the so called" Equitty Program" the most fraudulent contract ever existed.
If you just got a call and waiting for them to come drop off their $4 worth of a gift, just cancel. It's a 3 hour presentation for a $3700 vaccum cleaner.

If you just got a job With them or just saw the job add, quit.  Don't waste your summertime working for a SCAM!!!

I got a call from this # and agreed for a live presentation. A young man showed up and showed me some Indoor air quality products. I didn't end up buying it but I got a free 2 nite 3 day hotel accommodation. I found the young man to be very informative and professional. I think some of the people are just scared some experiences in the past with different companies and paint every company with the same brush. It's regretful that only unhappy people end up on these sites and no one really hears from people that are satisfied.

Lots of people worked for this company and they left, apparently these guys have a good product but it's over priced. I can understand that they need to make money but I hard that most of the money they make is from by using their employees like slaves, steal their trust and turn them into Zombies that think the only way to make Money is by selling their product, and turn around and steal from their employees.
For those who don't know, campanies like this are SCAMS. Stay away or call the copes if you get a call from them or report it to. MARKET PLACE ON CBC.

I received a call today from them, : 613-2254770 , Ottawa nr, well the caller talked gently ,she claimed I won a prize, even gave me the chance to choose between 2 prizes, but she lied telling that I or somebody from my home participated in a survey, anyways, she was gentle, I gave her appointment. Later I decided to research this company, I found too many complaints against them, so I contacted them , cancelled the appointment and asked them to remove my name from their list after telling them that they have bad reputation {I think they know it},told her about  people's complaints against them and told her if you call again I will contact the Business Bureau and file a claim, immediately she hanged up the phone!! My point is , they could be a REAL Company, and sell or promote good stuff, but the way they are doing it is sneaky, dirty one...They better be sincere and present themselves straight, this way of promoting makes people think bad of them.

I looked up the phone number of this place from a card left at my front door.  I was already annoyed since I have a sign on my door, saying NO ADS.  So in addition to scammy phone calls they are dropping off cards called POKER JACKPOT saying you won $10 000.

Did they ever show up ?

Did you get the prize!  They are suppose to come to my place on thursday and from reading everyones comments here no one actually wen threw with it, and given that I gave them the address of my brand new place (that is not even fully finished yet) they are going to come to a cement floor and half finished walls, but i figured i would grab the prize and let them talk all they want while i work on the dry wall.

I just went through the whole thing a week ago, doing a survey and they just called to say I had won a free $500 gift yadda, yadda, yadda.  So I made the appt and then came directly to my computer to search on the name and found many sites advising to stay away from the company.  I called them back (using *67 - this blocks out your tel # at the other end) before dialing their number  and someone actually answer.  I cancelled the visit and said I am not interested.  Fingers crossed they don't call back.

Just got the second call informing of the prize.  Mentioned the word of mouth advertizing, pick a prize etc.  Then when they asked for my Name and Address I started to ask more questions.  Once I got their name I told her to call back in an hour while I research the company.  She quickly replied "sure I can call you back in an hour" and hung up.  Did my research and found a number of these sites, reference to Filter Queen, prizes, a CRTC fine for telemarketing practices in 2010 etc etc.

Ready for the callback but seems "Let me research the company first" seemed to do the trick as have not heard from them since.

You're missing the point: the quality of their products has nothing to do with it - they're breaking the CRTC's rules and have already been found guilty and fined for this. Not only is this NOT the only tactic they have, it's one they're prohibited by legislation from using. There needs to be more severe penalties - the last one they got obviously didn't work. To continue this even after being fined is appallingly crooked. Why would anyone deal with a company that doesn't care about breaking the law? I probably won't get a followup about the prize because I rent, but if you do get that call, they need to be reported to the CRTC.

I worked for this company for two years both in the marketing department (on the phones) and as a sales/advertising representative who went to the appointments, handed out the prizes, and presented the products. Although not an honest or ethical organization by any means, it was not a SCAM. Anyone who receives this phone call WILL be given the gift of their choice at no cost so long as they view the presentation. Obviously the intent here is to sell the units, but it is true that there is no obligation, and nobody is going to take a penny from you if you choose not to buy the system. I completely understand the frustration of receiving marketing calls, but you need to remember that on the other line is- believe it or not- actually a person too. When I worked on the phones for this company, I was 16, living on my own, and trying to pay my bills. I was always friendly and never pushy. Making these calls was how I supported myself. I worked several holidays and often got screamed and cursed at for disturbing people's Thanksgiving lunches and whatnot- something that I didn't urgently want to do for my own twisted pleasure, but that I had to so that I could make my hourly wage and pay my rent. It was wholly upsetting to hear things like "don't you realize it's Thanksgiving?!?!" when I, too, had a family that I would have rather been spending MY Thanksgiving with as well.

I also worked as a sales representative. Once again, the company was not the most honest or ethical, but having already worked there for quite sometime and built friendships with those who ran the show, it was harder for me to see those issues. When I did the demonstrations, they were booked with people like you on the phone. I drove out sometimes an hour or two at a time to get to a presentation, took out my suitcase full of equipment as well as the free gift, put a smile on my face, and rang the doorbells of the people who'd agreed to my stopping by. Again, though, it's a tough concept for people to grasp that the nuisance at the door is actually a human being. People like you who agreed to presentations with the idea in their heads that they'd grab the prize and slam the door in our faces made it really tough for me, a 17 year old girl who worked 80 hours a week through every season on commission, to make a living.

Please try and remember, guys, that no matter how much you hate a company's marketing strategy, the people who work FOR the companies are usually not bad people. If you have a problem with the way  they market things (which you very well might), kindly ask to speak with someone in charge, or report the business on your own time, but please don't take it out on the employees. Please don't curse on the phone or make plans to slam the door in their faces. They are just people who are trying to get by.
