I got a call early this morning at 3:30am saying hi Denny.  I called back the number later in the evening and it was busy or rang without an answer. Why would someone call that early? I Think it is a prank call it woke the entire household up.

Its an easy burn number. Anyone can use it, from cons, to legit. Most recently, it was a collector for CTC Mastercard. You can even download an app to use these easy burn numbers.

Just received a call from this number. Guy with an East Indian accent saying he's from Microsoft security and apparently I have 'issues' with my computer (I don't). I told him that I had googled the number, that there were many complaints with this phone number, and to stop calling and bothering me. I guess that should be that!

This number called my daughters cellphone and asked for ME (by name). Very strange. He did not identify himself, only said he wanted to talk to me.
No one called my cellphone or home phone. Strange. Freaked her right out.

We had the same call, and said we didn't speak english but french only, and he then switched to some indi language.  Very strange.

Just got a call from this number...on Canadian Thanksgiving Monday.   Same as others have described...male with east Indian accent apparently wanting to help me with issues I was having with my Microsoft pc.   So I listened a bit and he told me that a malicious program has taken hold of my pc and was infecting others.  He also mentioned that they knew it was my pc by the IP address.  So I then told him that my PC has been dead for at least 12 months and that we don't have a Microsoft PC just an iPad and a laptop running Linux.  He still tried to tap dance his way around this "mystery" and then abruptly hung up.  

I should have strung him along for an hour or so just to see how much of an idiot I could make him out to be!

Btw my phone display also showed the caller as 9990218883476644...

Just got a call from this number... a few minutes after posting an add on usedOttawa.com  ... It was just dead air then they hung up.

He tell me he was from microsoft!!!!!!!! somebody dowload something plus ask for the age of my kids only 4 and 7 ........I try to call back and no service??? He call back next morning ,,I said I will report! just hang.
Please found out who his this person...police have to do there job???? it's scary

This number is used in a scam to get access to your computer. If you are that stupid to allow some wog from South-asia access to your computer, then you deserve to be ripped off.

As soon as you hear the accent - hang up. If the call is legit, the person will call back.

I prefer to play with the moron calling me. After he instructs me to access a particular screen, he then asks what it says. I tell him it says for him to "S*ck my d*ick".

It usually takes a few seconds and requests to repeat the information but eventually the thief gets it.

If you do that, your number will be put on high rotation for boiler room calls. Not fun but I do enjoy insulting those f*cks.

I got the same call but from a lady. She was getting rude and upset because I would not do what she wanted to my computer. It was also a foreign accent (India sounding). She mentioned that it was for my benefit. When she called she asked for both my husband and I, but only one of us is registered as the purchaser of this computer. BE VERY CAREFULL

that number keeps calling me and today i anser and itslike my phone took a picture and no one was talking

Get the call in early morning, tried to call back many times as I was expecting some calls, but the message appears "authorization restricted". Very frustrating!

Company called, wanted me to confirm my date of birth before telling me what the call was about

I have search thru google and it seems its some kind of a fitness research institude located at somerset st in ottawa..and they call household to have them participate on surveys like gas, fitness and so on. I got a miss call from them as well.but when i tried calling them no response.
What i wrote above is my thinking after what i read on the site and i
didnt speak to the person who called me.

i got a call from 6132335566. I didnot answer and I tryed calling back. The number was not in service.

That's great advice Julie. Nobody should automatically agree to answer questions/surveys over the telephone. Find out who the survey company is; say no thanks; hang up - don't answer random questions people. If you do agree to a telephone survey, then pay attention to what types of questions are being asked. Do they seem to be fishing for personal information about you? Or just hang up like Julie did!

I got a call from this number on Saturday. The person sounded like the voice was altered. They said they couldn't tell me who they were because they had a secret crush on me. Then said some really personal things. When I asked who it was and and that they were creeping me out, the person started slowly shushing me. I then hung up. So VERY, VERY creepy!!!
