keep getting calls from this number, sounds like a fax machine tone.

After reading a lot of posts about this eFax number from various web sites, here's something worth a try. The company sending the faxes is Iristel, Inc. in Ottawa Canada. Their phone # is 1-416-800-4747, then option 6 for the security department. Tell the person who answers that you want to file a harassment complaint against this 613 number and to have your number blocked from receiving any more faxes from this number. Also ask if you can get the Canadian law enforcement agency responsible for taking harassment phone complaints as well.

Called 1-866-779-4747 to request removing me from the auto fax list.  Put me on a lengthy hold twice. finally pressed zero and got a live person who tried to claim that part of the company was sold, but what he could do for me.........long story, if you bombard this company daily, leave messages, perhaps it will work. maybe they will do something about it.

I work at a police department and this number has for months called our department with just a "beep".  It doesn't happen every day, but when it does it is very consistant!

They keep faxing our business line!!

If you have AT&T you can automatically block the last # called by entering star 60....then number sign and follow the prompts.

I called that number and heard,  "This number is not in use."
I've received 4 calls in the last 20 minutes!  I'm sure they're not done.

if this number is calling you,   call them at (866) 779-4747 use option 6 for the Security department  ask them politely to removed your number from their fax line dummy dialer.

If you don't get anywhere, then spam their facebook www.facebook.com/iristel   verifiy the number is 613-701-0200(or whatever phone number is calling) is spamming your phone,   This number belongs to one of their re-sellers,  If enough of us get this info to them, they may shut down this re-seller.

This number has called me several times at night and when I answer its a fax machine. This is annoying.

Received an email ostensibly from efax.com -- of which I've never previously heard, nor am I a member.
Did not click on the link, identifying "my document" but since no sender that I'm acquainted with, was named, I felt it wiser to not click on anything, but instead went looking into the phone number, which is this  1-613-701-0200.

To protect my computer and personal information, I will NOT be clicking on the link, identifying "my document".

I actually got an e-mail from this company, rather than a real fax.  Still, our anti-spam filter managed to catch this and stop it my going into my in-box.  Scammers are becoming much more stealthy these days.  

**** SOMEONE IS SPOOFING A LEGIT EFAX OUTBOUND NUMBER ***

We have a client with the same issue, they keep complaining because 'someone' is using the legit, regular out going eFax # 613-701-0200, also spoof faxing from 480-283-6933.

480-283-6933 is disconnected.  For the calls that appear to come from Canada, call those guys at the http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/home-accueil.htm at 877-249-2782 and they could track down the originating caller if you were being spoofed.

I called IRISTEL today and they said they do not own 613-701-0200 or 480-283-6933.

5 calls in the last two minutes. caller id says ontario ca. This morning diff number same thing with Atlanta caller id

Hasn't anyone here ever heard of call blocking?! Anytime I get an unwanted call I add it to my call block list. Problem solved.

you have to answer the phone before you know if  its going to be a unwanted call.  And with their being so many it will be impossible to stop altogether.
