i have been getting calls from this number too, pretty much everyday now for the past week and sometimes twice a day! and of course, since it's a long distance number i don't pick up and wait if they would leave a message, but they never do! today, i tried calling the number and it just kept ringing for about a minute. i was just really hoping to find out if a voicemail would come on and find out who it is, whether it's a company or a person. then, after deciding that it will just keep ringing non-stop, i decided to hung up and google the number and it turns out i'm not the only one! after reading the other posts, and since i bank with rbc i think i will just answer it the next time they call so they can finally stop calling and opt out on the offer!

I've received MANY of these calls over the past few weeks.  I believe it's either RBC trying to solicit more business from existing customers, or some sort of phishing scam.

They called, Never left a message.
Everyone says its RBC or RBC Visa ... well I'm not with RBC .......  and don't know how they could get my number.

This company has harassed me for weeks on end. I receive 3 - 5 phonecalls a day from them. Even though I have told them many times to stop calling, they will not stop. I need to report them asap.

I have called RBC and apparently they do not recognized this number. These people are NOT RBC they are trying to access your bank info to do with it what they will. I have contacted the police about this number and apparently the next time they call you must dial *57 to trace the call. Get the info, call the police, file a report.

This company has called me solidly for the past couple of weeks, the number is unlisted and when called they call themselves only BRI.
As I am on the DNC list, I had thought that it would stop these calls, but they get round it by being supplied with call list info from there clients, eg RBC, TD Canada Trust, ett.
To get a call from them when you are on the DNC list you must have at one time in your life, had contact with, or requested info from, or had service provided by one of there clients. This then gives them carte-blanche to call the crap out of you, and bother you night and day.

So how do you get them to stop calling. very hard. Even if you ask them , they can still call you again under the option of info passed on to them from a different client.

Still it may not stop the calls, but if they p****d people  off enough , people might start calling the toll free number from payphones, maybe leaving it off the hook, costs a fortune and ties up lines, please understand I am not suggesting people do this. I am just pointing out how upset people could respond to all the telephone calls...

This phone number calls me around 5 times a day, everyday during the weekend and only a couple of times on the weekends. I don't pick up, I just hang up.

That number has been calling my cell for the last 2+ weeks and not leaving a message! First week, it was once in the morning. Second week, was twice a day, in the morn/aft and eve. Now it's three times a day — morn, aft and eve! Fricking annoying and frustrating! TG I didn't answer any of the 18 calls and decided to google the number before I called it back.

I am on the Do Not Call list but it's obviously not working. I filed a complaint anyway on the DNR website. I will call RBC customer care and give them an earful if it is one of their stupid insurance companies. Thanks all for your feedback.

This #16139320365 been calling three times a day(morning,afternoon and evening time)looking for my husband.At 8:16 my husband answers an its RBC Visa telemarketing.

Called and didn't leave a message. I assume it was a pedophile phoning.  Whenever some random number calls me out of nowhere and doesn't leave a message I assume it's a pedophile. I wish the cops would bust these perverts.

They called me, claiming to be affiliated with the royal bank. they wanted personal information, but when i asked them for proof that they are affiliated with the royal bank, they couldnt offer me any.  I think its a scam..... I'll see if they call my wife...... then i'll know if its the royal bank, as anytime i turn a service down, they call back asking for my wife/ trying to get her to agree to what ive already refused. Got to love RBC and theyre persistance....

This number has been calling me too quite a bit lately.  I called back and got the voice mail.  When it asked for all my information I simply gave them the name for the Federal Minister in charge of Privacy and the phone number for that department.

Hope they enjoy the calls as much as I did.

I just received a call from that number--it was a hang up as usual, so I called it back and got a recorded message.  They claim to be RBI, specializing in telemarketing services.  I have added my number to THEIR do not call list (which may not take effect for 72 hours).  We'll see--I doubt that'll stop them. Why am I having to sign up for the National Do Not Call list, when these idiots ignore it?

yeahh i just got a call from this number this morning and ive been expecting calls from employers so i didnt know what was up with this number and this area code....

Its funny everyone has said its RBC... i got the call and they told me it was Td....fishy buisness
