I hear all over the news of phone scams ..if u return a call to an unknown number you could be charged 20 or more on your phone bill.....

Whoever called from OSU last night was clearly calling from a bar.  I paid enough to send my daughter to OSU and certainly would not donate to someone, who did not speak, who was calling from a bar.

Actually, it isn't fake.  My caller ID actually says Ohio State University.  Also, having gone there and live in Columbus still the 247 exchange is purely for use by Ohio State.  No local phone company can use them as well as any cell carrier providing service to a 614 area code.  292 and 688 or 633 are also OSU exclusive exchanges, for offices and dorms.  They have called me twice in the last month and as described, no message. So, it is probably Alumni Association.

I just received a call from this number on my private cell phone. I am on the do not call list. I am not, nor have I ever been a student at this institution. I want my phone number removed off of the list. Since you seem to be in the know, how do we then get our names off of the list or out of the data base, when they should never have been there to begin with? Thank you.

My wife and I both got calls from OSU on our unlisted cell phones tonight.  We have no idea how they got our cell phone numbers.  We've also been getting a bunch of e-mails from them which we mark as spam.  I've blocked their number but I'd love to know how to get off of their list.

This number is calling three times a week.  We are out of the US right now so getting calls in the middle of the night and being charged for this unnecessry call.  PLEASE STOP!

They call after the football lottery or when you are about to receive alum tickets.

OSU asking for money. They will call you once a week until you give some.

My son goes OSU and said they were calling updating parents with info ??

Until OSU stops rioting on gameday and acting like they won the super bowl when all they do is beat teams in Dec and Jan that already lost most of their talent to injuries they get NOTHING from us.

Cheap sheet.  Does that make me a cheap skate?  How DARE you name call?  How dare you be so judgemental?  I pay taxes, and since when are you entitled to what little I have left of my biweekly pittance after paying those taxes?  If I want to give, and IF I can afford to give, I will.  Your name calling and condecending attitude does little to endear me to the University.
