Verizon. I didn't enter the information requested b/c it seemed odd coming from Columbus OH. I then called Verizon and noticed that there was a payment on my account I needed to take care of-my own fault. So, the call wasn't a scam, but I'm glad I didn't enter any of my information until I actually called the Verizon # that is on their website.

I think Verizon got hacked and someone sneaky from Ohio perhaps a rich engineer from hell and his thief family Bl@k3'5 have found a way to rob some money and look like they are from verizon!  Fraud that's what they do best!! They spoof #'s I bet!

Called actual Verizon and had this number reported to their fraud division.

So yes, this is 100% fake, and a scam.

It's Verizon, I just saw the call and my verizon bill is due, and for some reason they always call from OH.

I got a call from the number and then a text from Verizon seconds later.  I did actually forget to pay my bill and they were reminding me to pay it in the next 24 hours.  If you get a call from this number I wouldn't bother calling back, just check your account on the Verizon website and make sure you're up to date on payments.
